Wow Im reading all the Complaints about the ( LG KE970 Shine ) Everyone that bought it complaining Big Time!!! Whats the Difference between that one and this one LG KU970 Shine they look the same. And to think i was going to buy a Shine phone but so so many Depressed people out there buying (LG KE970 Shine) just read the complaints on this site. Scary!!

no it's not available yet in the islands. better get it in hk. you might want to look at the samsung u700 though. the specs look better and the price difference isn't that far off.

Ok, i was reading some comments on this phone, and most people said it wasn't worth the money, too many problems with it. Well i was wanting to get the LG KE770 Shine, but I'm worried about getting it thinking it might have some of the same problems. I dont want to pay for a phone and be stuck with it for 18 months and it suck.
does any1 know if the LG KE770 Shine has the same problem, or other problems?

yoyo anyone know how i can keep the player on and do other things at the same time? someone mention the menu key for multi tasking but it doesnt work leh on the 3.5G model.
& also does the LG software allows editing of songs i wan use as ring tone? dun seems to find it.

hey im from sa too!! yeah u can set any tune as ringtone or msg but msg only go for 5 sec doesnt play whole song.
what i hate is when u play music u cant use the menu or msg it stops playing once you wana use other functions

Go to the sound file in "sounds" or "external memory" depending on where you saved it then slick"options" and then "sound theme" from there you select voice ringtone, msg tone etc...

can anyone tell me? with the metal body..
does it screw up the reception, while you're on the phone and stuff. can you hear the other person on the other side clearly.
also is this phone a vodafone only, or can u get the normal version.

I have a question about this phone ku970. It has Document Viewer(.pdf, .doc, .xls) like ke970?, because on the site it doesn't sayz. pls answer if you know. thx alot!!!

overall it's ok. i like the shiny bit but negatives:
1. texting. its so hard and gay as its hard to find keys cos the surface is flat
2. scroll can be annoying
3. message tone only lasts for 5 sec. not like moto goes for whole song.
4. battery. battery is shit. very bad.
thats all!!!
other than that its pretty good
positives;
1. i like the avata thing where u can create ur own picture to set up caller id
2. u can put any picture as when u call out (i put this hot pic of keeley)

Got this phone for 3 weeks now, definately not a feature packed phone for its price. However, I do enjoy the "bling bling" effects, any friends who saw this phone would say "oh~ is that the 'shine'?" lols :P
OK, a couple of thoughts on it (much of which corrolated with the reviews)
1. battery life is adequate(2 days with average use), tho no where near SE's. eg K610, K750, T610.
2. Response was slow, tho faster than Motorola's Eg. V3, E389.
3. I hate to say, 488MBs effective memory does suck. I do have a dedicated mp3 player tho, so not too much of a prob for me.
Finally, as of today, prob the best looking phone you can get. Be prepared to fork out quite a bit of cash for it tho, hehe.

hi! can anyone tell whether the screen is hard to view in normal daylight? because someone said that in the the sun the screen if quite difficult to view. thanks!

I just got this phone from Vodafone in Australia. Once you get used to it it is really great. It's a nice looking phone too. But how do I get pics onto the phone from my PC? Can you even do that?
