i had some problem with my shine...it seems like i cant receive sms that consist of 2 pages or more...am wondering if anyone out there is facing the same problem =)

No dude, if the phone is dropping calls, its not always the provider, normally it is the phone, unless in a low coverage area.

Hi can someone please tell me if I can set the alarm to go off on specific days and not have to keep turning the alarm on every day.

yeah the thing that happened 2 ur friend is exatly wat happened 2 me
is was quite hard 2 fix aswell
and also i agree I charge my phone everynight and its NOT difficult at ALL!!!!

i personally really liked this phone but it broke quite easily, i ended up losing it though and the browser didnt work properly at all im now getting the lg viewty which i LOVE and btw yes i am 'i love this phone' and im also 'i adore this phone' (i left comments on the lg viewty site aswell)

im planning to buy this phone but can anyone tell me if you can put music as the background? as in, you can do other stuff while listening to music because at the moment i have a samsung d600 and you can't do it with that phone, well i don't think you can

the software doesn't work on vista =(
not a real prob tho u can still transfer things.. theres usb & bluetooth.

you are NOT stuck with the phone for 2 years UNLESS YOU CHOOSE TO...common sense? go buy a new phone, that you don't have to unlock with your service provider...you can do it...it's just that you DONT...or you CANT AFFORD ONE...then just use it???
If you're with 3...change the LG shine to another 3 phone...you can...who says you can't change to another phone???
the contract is e.g...$30...on two years...your paying the phone off for 2 years...getting $30 worth of calls included each month...So stop complaining and change your phone if you don't like it...

1. how hard is it to charge a mobile phone every single day? you're not alone with the mobile phone in the desert are you?
2. If you want to chuck it...chuck it...and Yes you are stuck ON A PLAN for 2 years...NOT WITH THE PHONE...go buy a new phone IF YOU CAN AFFORD ONE.

Great phone and very stylish
to some questions asked heres the asnwers,
you can set mp3 as ringtones and to different callers too and also set mp3 as sms,mms tones BUT only about 15 sec.
Yes the front cam can be use to self potrait.
The scroll u got to get use to its slowness or it will skip and the ringtones vol max is 7 which is still not loud enough.
Compared to U700 I read global complains about the faceplate colour fade and chip off but my shine still shine as new :P and the U700 is also not any louder as KU970 but the have memory slot tho.
Ive been using it for more then a week battery issue not a problem yet tho it doesnt last very long but I love to xfer files to my shine from my pc so that could be why the batt doesnt last long. And yes the have speakerphone to but the other party voice is not loud when in open space. Last but not least learn to enjoy it and wait for the hack software, there ought to be 1 soon :)

my friend got this phone, and she had it 4 about 6 months, and she put it in her bag, and it had a huge crack in it.
It is gorgeous though

i agree with you rosey. battery life dies less than 2 days! i have to charge it everynight.

I had the phone for three months and suddenly the battery life went from 5 days to 1. I have to charge it every single day now. Overall it’s a cool phone with nice features. The bad thing is that you can not use downloaded photos as a Ringtone ID.

I have this phone less than a month. The battery life sucks, it lasts 1.5 days!!! I want to chuck mine already and I am stuck for 2 years. It also drops lots of calls .... just cuts out. I've taken it in and they say the battery is fine ... it is not. Any suggestions on a phone with a better battery life. I have always had Nokia.

This is the ultimate phone but there is one problem with this phone. the softwares in this mob doesnt work in vista as far as i know.
