Bought it recently... initial feedback:
- Very good phone reception and voice clarity
- Excellent camera
- Good battery life... with average use... 120-25 minutes of talking daily, some pics and touchscreen play, it will last 2-3 days which is easilt workable
- Touchscreen is not as great as the iPhone's... that one is just too smooth and too receptive... this one is ok... it doesnt disappoint in the least... feedback on touch is very useful and feels good
Overall, a value for money buy. Any question... let me know here...

frontrunner41, 03 Jul 2008could someone who bought the fone from a phone store and no... moreBought from store... no issues with battery... charged it to full first... then talked for about 45 minutes and played with touchscreen quite a lot... and after one day the battery was down by just 1 bar (out of 4 bars when fully charged). So that sounds like a pretty decent battery contrary to what some people have been saying. I believe those must be the people who are listening to music all day, texting side by side and talking quite a lot... any battery will go down faster that way...

Everything works great, except I can't make calls anymore. It can no longer pick up network..... Battery life is bad. Will probably last you 2 days if you don't touch it. If you use the browser, music player, camera, or average talk time,... you will probably end up charging every night.

if so wats the text messaging ... morewith regards to messaging:
1. response - u must get used to the touch screen to have a smooth input and after that, everything will be going alright.
2. feedback- excellent
3. accuracy - very good (needs to master the virtual querty pad and screen touch before you can accurately touch the screen keys.)
4. and most of all it is new way of inputing messages with a lots and lots of FUN FUN FUN.

could someone who bought the fone from a phone store and not ebay, please tell me how the battery is?. there is so many mixed comments about the battery i don't know what to believe.i hav a lg u880 , battery lasted 4-5 days new , after a few months the battery wont even last a day. for those of u who hav owned the ku990 for a few months did this happen to u?

The LG KU990 is the best phone i've ever seen! The 5 MP Camera is really really good. Its Crystal Clear and its got a cool flash, just like a real camera! All the touchscreen phones are the best because the screen is bigger than all the other phones screens. The battery is really good for me because it lasts up to about 14-16 days. The web browser and the URL is really most I need out of a mobile phone and the screen is big enough for me to see images and to see the writing. The weight of the phone is excelent. What I mean by excelent is its not too heavy and not too light. I also really like to play games when i've got nothing to do and this phone comes with free games.
I also like all the other feature about it so if your rich or won lotto I recomend this phone.

Hi all, I just bought a KU990R and have a question... many users have expressed that we can use memory cards of capacity > 2GB and the viewty accepts them, however it shows that there is only 2GB available. I just inserted a 4GB card... and when I set the camera to save onto the external memory, it says external memory full even though it is absolutely empty. When I go to memory status... it strangely says that 2GB is full and 4 GB is free... not sure why this is.
Can someone help?
