There's no % sign because its probably the most useless button every put on a calculator. No good calculators have the function because its assumed the operator can multiply by 100.

Y didnt lg mention all these great features before the viewtys release, i think even more people would have bought it. I have the phone and i can say that all i read was 100% true. However i had no idea that the Divx on the phone was so good before i bought. Lg should brag a bit more before they release their phones.

i just had this fone on upgrade and it hasnt got any music tried to download and the file now cant be found can any1 tell me where the music goes after downloading???

I'm not a Nokia fan boy, infact I have had SE phones for the last 2 years. But I got sick of those crashing and breaking, so I went back to an old nokia I had lying around after my K800 died. In the end you can't deny Nokia's tend to be boring but reliable!
As for the LG, been trying it again today in a vain attempt to like it(I really do want to!) but the MSM thing drives me totally spare. Having to turn the T9 on everytime I write a reply, I would consider kind of tedious!! And I mean EVERYTIME!
Did I mention before it locks the keypad during a call all the time? Thats frustating.
The phone has locked up on the internet today requiring a reset to resolve it. And it won't allow me on the Gizmodo site, which I except is more likely a Gizmodo problem, though it works on a pc..
The touch screen IS dodgy, sometimes taking upwards of 2 seconds to respond to inputs when the phone is lagging. Though I will admit it's much better than I actually expected!
How about the camera, change to the front camera and when you go back to the main camera all the settings for it have lost. It reverts to VGA mode not 5MP, it turns auto flash off, it sticks into ISO200 mode not auto. Please would you also point out where the resolution is higher as its exactly the same. The screen resolution is higher because it larger, but the colour count is way down.

Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade the calculator function with one that actually has the % fuction on it? LG have obviously made a fairly big error by forgetting to include it!!! Ooooops LG!!! I love the phone but use the % fuction with my work all day when i am out and about. Not great that i now have to carry a calcualtor as well!!!!! Please can anyone help??? Surely LG could make a fix for this???? Anyone out there with connections to LG???

i am about to buy the cell and want some clearance from experienced users:
1. is the music quality using headphone comparable to walkman series?
2. is te touchscreen responsive?

Its a great phone, one of the most beautiful in the world, the camera and UI and all work very well and the res is higher than the n95, its great, i love it.

This phone is plagued with issues. I initially chose this over the N95 8GB (already own an N95). The camera is OK, but the lower quality screen compared with the N95 is very apparent. Pics don't seem as good. It's a nice size though.
The touch screen is very touchy (no pun intended), sometimes working well and othertimes not responding at all. It's most annoying trying to scroll the screen but instead entering into an option. I ended up with it in German because of this!
It need's some kind of fast RAM or something, it's just bloody slow at responding to anything, try loading your pictures and seeing how long it takes to display just the thumbnails!. It takes ages to read the memory card, and keeps telling me it's full when it's nowhere near.
Battery seems ok, dropped 1 of 4 bars in most of the day, way better than the N95 but lets face it that ain't hard!
Sound from it is appauling! It's just sooooo quiet. My N95 i can use for playing music at work but this is not loud even in a quiet room. The N95 has 2 speakers though and if you cover one of them, it sounds about as loud as this.
The biggest bugbear for me so far though is MSM.. The application just sucks on this phone. Tell it to auto log in and it loses your info everytime! Annoying! It puts the first character in Capital letters which screws up your log in! N95 does this too but still logs in fine). It can't just hide the application in the background when you select hide it just dissapears. Oh and it can't even log into Skype!
NO CAMERA COVER!!! (ok neither does the N95 8GB)
Overall I'm really dissapointed.. I'd been looking forward to having my new shiny gadget to play with, and have ended up on the phone nearly all day to my provider trying to get it to work. I could have thrown it at a wall! It looks nice, and in principal it's a great phone just let down mostly by rubbish firmware. I'd love to say I'm prepared to give it a chance, but I get one chance at an exchange and I decided to ditch it for the N95 8GB. I know it won't feel like a new toy, cause it's bassically still what i have, but I know at least it will work!

Ahaha, you are right theres no % sign. It has all sorts of scientific functions but some how they left out the %. I just noticed actually :)

Theres no adobe installed. Its something called Picsel viewer. It allows you to view office documents and PDF files :)

Dont carry this phone in a magnetic pouch or put near magnetic...the battery will run out quick
