LG KU990 Viewty

I have recently unpacked my KU990 and found a problem with tranferring mp3's. The music manager doesn't transfer all the track info. Just filename, size and date changed. It's pretty useless to not ba able to search by, for exampl, Artist in the phone. The version is from 2006: v1.1.4.2. is this the wrong version? If this is how it's supposed to be this phone seriously sucks.

for the ones of you who think the screen touch have lags, you should know that when the touch is not responding it-s not because the screen, but the phone is working. it's the same like phones with buttons pressed but not responding when busy working/processing something. so viewty-s touch screen got no problems at all

it just need a wifi and a nice mp3 .. and it will be the perfect phone

Do ur viewty smell like something burning a lil bit? maybe its the battery i supposed?

i finall get this phone yisterday and im pritty pleased with it. the video is quality but the pictures arnt as good as a n95. the mp3/ music loudeness is alright about as loud as my nokia n73 m.e . ive filled the mem on this phone already as it didnt come with a mem card i just want to know what is the biggest possable mem card i can put in this phone i kno that on gsm specs for the phone it says 2 gig but ive red that people are putting 4gig cards in it is it possable??? please some on tell me whats the biggest size i can put it it thanks

DON'T BUY TIS PHONE NOW! I just got mine a few days back but it it was a mistake bcoz in January 2008 lg ku990 viewty will come out with WIFI! I luv tis phone.So if u guys plan to buy one,better buy when it comes out with WIFI in january 2008.

Taking photos in dark are fine theres night mode and the flash for extra light.

Whats it like taking photos in the dark with the viewty? I dont know which phone to get the k850 or the Viewty?

Just got this phone yesterday, and what can I say.....FANTASTIC!!!!!! I was impressed with the Prada but LG have done themselves Proud, A great camera, Great MP3 player and the phones menu is superb. 1 tiny critisism, the stylis should fit inside the phone instead of the dangler.

Here my lil 2cents. Excellent phone! Brilliant screen! Camera isnt impressive @ all or maybe i just dnt knw how 2 use it properly.on a 5mp pic the size i gt is arnd 300 2 600kbs thats jst terrible :-( Video capture is a big wow! Really really impressed! The sound quality mp3s etc is good. Web browser is really nice. and java apps work really well. H8 the file manager system on this phone. Speed when it comes 2 opening pics and videos etc is jst amazing! The phones kwik! Downloading speeds, ive not come across any phne this fast when it comes 2 dwnloading. Battery life isnt that good. Ul get a day of extensive usage. Overall very very impressive phone! Has 1 or 2 downsides bt can live wit em :-)

Finally got this phone! wohooo. Im happy. thanks to hapi for posting ephones number. tested this phone for like an hour before buying it. Im happy! stay awoke last night just fiddling with all the features. hassle pulling out the minute microSD card though.

I was going to buy the sony w960i but got so fed up of waiting for a release I decided to get the viewty and Im really happy, of course the sony has things the LG doesnt have such as symbian and 8gb but then again the LG has 5mega pixel camera your best bet is to view the features of both phones and become familiar with what features you really want and which ones you could live with out, the W960I is pricey too. Hope this helps.

I want to know if this phone w960 is better tham the lg ku990? I want to by a great phone but i really don´t know about the qualiti of those phones, iphone( very bad camera 2mpx, and very stressfull with contracts), lg ku9909 its fine, but its lg.haha, and i don´t know with it´s a god phone instead with a 5mpx camera), and the w960 ( have everything that i want, but i read here some desapointed people with this phone,, and the price is to big.rsrsrs)... but if it´s a god phone, tehre is no problem to pay for it.... can you help me just to know how to chose a great phone? iphone? lgku0990 or w9960? tanks... i´m in germany

Do you got the right usbdrivers? Mine is working fine just the program thats a little bugg:y
And you cant turnoff the sound but you can remove like shuttersound 3 and replace it with a "empty .amv or whatever format its in.

Hello, I also hve the problem with connecting my phone to my laptop through USB. It worked yesterday as I managed to transfer some contacts from my laptop to phone, but I tried to to transfer some music and it says on my phone, 'disconnected'
I wna know why aswell...could some1 please answer me?
ALSO!! Can I ask, how do I switch off the camera shutter sound?? Everytime I take a picture theres a sound even though I'm set to 'silent'. Please, could someone help me. Thanks :)
