i work at cpw and i think that the iphone is not as good at the veiwty my patner is getting the veiwty coz its the best phone out at the mo! i mean come off it its a 5.1 meg piks cam!!

It has been released here in Sweden for 4100-5500 swedish kronor and that is around 400-540 euros and 900-1100 dollars.Maybe it will come with 3 later but my question is.Is it worth it? I really want it but i have sell my other phone and stuff xD .I dont have any high income.
Is the divx quality good? :) Thx

Just got a reply from lg, and guess when it is releasing ...... lol, k k i'll tell ya, its 7th of Dec, and its going to be priced at ..... 2100 dhs. Hmm i expected it to be a lil lower than that but oh well, still happy with the pricing ;)

Hi pedram, U sure its here in dubai? cuz i didnt c any advetisements of it in newspapers or anything for that matter. I had sent lg some technical queries but havnt had a response as yet. I'll call them anyway and let u know if its here and the pricing of it, cheers ;)

I have this fone but i have a long list of things that could be improved on such as fm radio to play through speaker,mp3 player to have some settings,dvx player to have settings as when you leave the app you have to restart from the beginning and a light when video recording plus many more .i dont know if a software update would be able to sort this out or would we have to wait for the next version so that we have to pay out again.
once a phone has been released its very rare that a software update addresses many of these feature problems its like now youve bought the phone lets not bother with it anymore and move onto the next one and as most contracts are 18 months were stuck with these fones for a long time.

Im seriously considering this phone. Im moving from a Motorola E680i & Sony Ericsson P910i. I only consider touchscreen phones. Some questions;
1. Can i view or edit word, pwrpoint, excel documents? or view pdf's
2. Can i highlight,cut & paste text on the screen with the stylus?

The battery life of course depends how often you going to use it,how high you're going to set screen brightness, i'd say on average it should last around 3 days, and again-it depends,it's hard to tell.It lasts enough for me, i had se k750 some time ago and it lasted longer,but hey-Viewty has huge screen and so many things to do with it!
My wifes Samsung e720 battery lasts 2 days with minimum usage and the screen is tiny,so... lol!

yeah, but16mil.screen is different,it's nicer, i own viewty and it's 5 star phone with 256k

thanx for your reply! one additional question to you or anyone... the slide viewer is it automated or do you have to use the arrow keys? and is it as good as the nokia slide show viewer?
ps also to the comments by others regarding the screen resolution there is a noticable difference but not enough to worry about at that size.

haha i think you should do some instead. 16m colors on a little screen is like 1000hk in a fw-drive fiat.Maybe if this phone could play hd-format it would do some differens.But now when its divx and a bit smaller formats thats not using so much color its just waste.Pls , dont be silly. 256k is just fine.
All these kids that knows nothing about anything and just wants the best.."ooh 16m colors!" anoying -.-

I have unlocked UK version and there are no chat clients installed at all, no skype, no msn.Also no google maps.

Well... if someone does not see the difference between 16m and 256k has absolutely no idea what he/she is talking about, i can only say-do the math.
To Pedram:
~It depends what size files you going to manage, if its small files up to 10mb, i think it's fast enough,actually my bluetooth speed is very similar as usb speed and also it probably depends on your bluetooth dongle's speed and yor pc.
I tried loading big files up to 1gig-it would take hours,so i'm taking out flash memory and pluging straight to pc(where even then it takes about 10-15 mins to load file).As one of disadvantages on this phone-there's no hot swap, you have to turn of the phone, take the cover off, remove batery....But it's not a big deal, as i'm not doing it that often.

Hi! I have this phone and I love it. I figured out how to download MP3's and Images and I'm so excited.
Using the directions in the manual, open up the PC Suite with the USB connection.
Click on "Music Manager" and drag MP3's to download music.
Click on "Contents Manager", choose LG Phone, then go to the Images folder, and then drag images on there too.
Any more questions let me know. If you play around long enough you should be able to figure everything out.
