I'm having difficulty trying to use the scroll function on my viewty on the menu screens. I can't seem to scroll down at all to reach certain menu options which is a tad irritating! Anybody else have this problem or is mine dodgy?
Otherwise a superb handset, a step up from my old k800i!

I admit it: I love some of the styles that LG manufactures (Shine, Prada, and earlier compact phones) but the signal is very sporadic. I can be right in the shop and the phone shows full signal, and yet I cannot make a test call. Then, other times, the phone shows low signal and calls can be made normally. (BTW, I am on T-Mobile USA.)

To anyone who actually use this phone;
How easy is it to use, do u need to use the stylus or can u type/navigate just using your fingers
Also, what is the camera speed like? How long does it take to take a photo and save it?

In my opinion, the viewty(beauty?) have some useful function..
1> Simple viewing Menu map on Main Theme display
: IF you double touch on main display, You can show the simple viewing menu map..and if you want to remove, you would re-touch LCD dislplpay.
2> Jog wheel usage on camera module
: On call connecting, if customer want to volume up and down, he can adjust by jog wheel key on camera module.
I think the model is so good..

In the UK retail pack you get viewty, stylus dongle, mains charger, USB cable, earphones with 3.5mm jack adaptor, software. Thats your lot I'm afraid. Surprisingly, a TV out cable and a pouch/sock/cleaning cloth are not included.

Does this phone support Flash like my nokia 5300 xPress music
and what is the out for the earphones is it like samsung's special ones
or the N81 3.5mm stereo jack

I got this phone on Saterday and so far its as good as it can get. Camera quality is great, high speed camera is just fantastic and un-heared of on a mobile phone! The touch screen isn't really that sensative, nothing compared to the iPhone or the iPod Touch screens, but still usable. I wouldn't reccomend this phone for texters due to the touch screen, but for camera and music this phone is great! Oh yeah, and for calling, has a really good loudspeaker aswell which is good for in the car. Orange have a docking station for the car thats only £15 so thats worth getting aswell.

I can't wait until this phone comes out! would of got the prada but its 2g thank god i waited this one is sooo much better! its coming out in aus this thur with 3!!!!!! can't wait to get my hands on it!!!! thanks for your opinions!

Jdmoto, don't At&t run on 850 and isn't the viewty triband? Are you able to browse webpages with no problems? Also, as you were on the phone with at&t did the techs mention the viewty was only triband and you may have problems with service? Thanks, billy

finally got mine yesterday, it is charging right now, it's not as expensive as I thought it would be, only $4280 HKD

Well i just got the phone in the US. Im using it under the ATT carrier. Pretty much i give it a 9.5/10. the shutter press to shutter release isn't as fast as the K-series SE phones. I can deal with that though. The best part is I got the fully unlocked phone. which means.
-google links: search,gmail,youtube,blogger,maps
-space commando game.
Took me about a day to setup the internet & mms, but I got it setup for the ATT service. So the phone is 100% fuctional. I just wish we had the UTMS 2100.

RDS display depends on if the radio station has that feature, its extra data transferred along with the normal sound data which can show anything from song/singer name to radio station. so if you are not getting anything its prob because the station doesnt support it.

i just recived the fone yday and it comes with a lil black pen. but i read up about the fone and it didnt say anything about a pen. this fone is so attrative and easy 2 use 10/10

To answer some Q's
I have one from 02, got it yesterday
So far battery is excellent, been using it heavily for over a day now and only lost 1 bar
loudspeaker is LOUD
Yes you can minimise the music player (multitask)and carry on doing other things like texting with music playing.
Haven't tried the headphones yet, wouldnt swap my ipod though.
Camera is very very good
Call quality is good
Touch screen not perfect but very useable (I have huge hands/fingers)
Only 1 game DEMO on this 02 phone, I dont use phoen games anyway so no biggy for me
Annoying thing is the camera shutter sound not being able to turn off though, but that's law apparently.

We are doomed, the highest tier technical support at t-mobile usa have absolutely no clue as to what they are doing but can you blame them-a brand new foreign phone-how could they have the settings? My only question is can we return the phone? i'll just get the se850i

Many reviewers, including gsmarena, say this phone has a "radio with RDS". I got my Viewty yesterday, and it dispays NO information about the radio stations. How this RDS work? There is an icon showing a building with the text togling ON/OFF as you press. I dont know its purpose. Dont know how they managed to get it.
Please help.
