Personally, I think that if you prefer a full-flege device which you can use as a smart phone or 'computer', N95 would be the better choice.
LG Viewty is strong in its camera features. If you would want a basic phone with excellent camera functions, and web browsing, I would say go for LG Viewty.
But if you prefer more functionality, such as the ability to download many programmes, N95 would be better because it runs on Symbian.
Alternatively, if you can wait, Nokia is supposedly coming out with a Symbian iPhone lookalike by June 2008. Might be a good buy, compared with what is on the market now.

When U are about to write SMS or MMS a querty or regular keyboard appears. The picture U see is just when U dial. Search Youtube and see some videos there.

The LG Viewty also has an on screen qwerty keypad, along with the number letter keypad. it is a little more than just a "calculator". It is a step forward from the Prada, but improvements need to be made with the touchscreen itself (it is not very sensitive).

this phone is pratically a camera! :D haha.. love it! i would want it but i'm getting the lg prada. :) so its okey. :)haha...lmost the same phone except different camera and otha stuff.

Love this phone, check it out on youtube, wow the thing can playback in slow motion, thats sooo original, its on another level.

my mum sticks to lg... u know.. the not so flashy and normally on the 3 network handsets! But i must say this fone and its technology looks impressive! I mean its being compared to the n95 which i own and the k850i which aint so gr8 after all lol.. I just hope the fone comes as gr8 as it sounds wiv out any problems our returning hassles as my sister had wiv her prada fone!

hi i aint an LG fan im into NOKIA and i hate SONY ERICSSONS ... i must say this phone by LG is stunning and dont worry about the picture the display is coverd by the keypad thats why it looks like a calculator but its not ...

lg is using a strobe flash...and according to the site,xenon flash is safer...

I can see what a bad picture can do. The whole screen is touch screen. And the keys you see is vritual key (not real key). This phone is nice and plays dix too :)

Don't be confused by the image! The buttons are on the display; its a touch screen phone not a silly "Calculator" phone. You people really got me going! :-)
