my friend just go to PROFILES, then click EDITH THEN U SEE EVRYTHING YOU NEED TO SORT OUT OR EDITH LIKE CHABGIN alert or voice rington or volume and ect ,you find yours there . verey easy . got problem be in thouch.

aster0id, 05 Oct 2009I have tried a lot but web based applications won't work in... moreviewty is a bit complicated to setup on your own. the best thing for you to do is to go to your network provider's business centerand have the phone setup by them. your problem coul be one thing or another. for the meantime, check the folliowing and then post back here your findings:
1. is there an internet profile in the settings for the games and apps (main menu> fun and games> games and apps> settings)? this maybe the one missing since you are able to browse on the in-built browser.
2. with some networks, the in-built browser requires http setting, while apps require socket settings. check if the internet profile you have are of two different kinds-- http and socket.
3. if your problem is not being able to install at all those apps you mentioned, try installing them offline-- download the jar (not jad) files into your computer, transfer them through usb to your phone's memory card, on your phone find the files and just click on them to install.

there are a few phones that are manufactured for a specific service provided for eg. i work for 3 uk the phones that we provide are locked to the 3 network and only three sim card work in that now to get the phone to work with all sim card you will gave to get a network unlock code from the service provider or you can get it done from local stores as well

then options>>
then edit>>
you will find a option to increase the volume..yes it is a 5megapixel camera with digital zoom..be extra carefull with the touchscreen i have seen many touchscreens crack with this model..

warrenty of a phone becomes void if it is phisically damaged.so there is no point claiming warrenty...i can suggest you to take the hadset to a local technician he can help you with fixing that

Hey I have the Viewty and I gotta say that it actually kinda sucks, cuz of the slow reaction of the phone and also the phone isn't even able to download themes and stuff, the browsing in the gallery is really slow, but the other functions are ok, camera sucks in dark places, flash sucks even more, if I were to recommend people to buy this phone? I'd rather buy a Samsung Omnia HD or something like that. I personally wouldn't recommend this phone. Oh and uh I've been using this phone for like 2 years now and already the battery is failing me, I had buy another one cuz the previous one swoll up. And everytime I made a call with a full charge or at least 3 blocks of battery the battery just sucks up everything and the phone just shuts down.

Anonymous, 28 Sep 2009 Hi Jumpy How r u my friend , i did what did u tell me ... moreperhaps the simplest way is to use google to hack websites for music. just pull up google and on the search field just type indexof: (for example indexof:fatboy slim) and click on search. google should return search results of websites contaning music files. just click on any of the search result and check if the song you are looking for is there, then simply just download it. or better yet, just go to www.musgle.com and just type in the name of the artist or title of the song. musgle uses google as well to hack into sites for music files.

venom, 28 Sep 2009does enyone know where i can find themes for this phone pls... moreif you mean where to find themes to add into what already is in the phone, then viewty doesn't support readily downloadable themes. it has to be hacked using efs media builder to be able to add themes. just search on the internet on how to change/download themes to viewty and you will find many forums with detailed instruction on how to do it. there is just basically one procedure to do it, and it is risky that you may end up bricking your phone. be sure to faithfully follow the instructions.
