Kels, 21 Aug 2009Work outside the circle especially when it comes to the LG ... moreyou can go to sites like emobilez, getjar, mobile9, and mobango on your phone as well. you can download the games, apps, music, videos, and whathaveyous directly into the phone. here in the philippines, internet browsing is charged per block (15-13 minutes per block), so it is the same as going to an internet cafe. the option to download through a computer is recommended instead if you have internet at home already.

esmont, 20 Aug 2009When you view the internet on this phone is it clear and re... morethere is zoom on the browser; as well as landscape and portrait views. but the in-built browser is cr@ppy, so i suggest instead third party browsers like opera mini, ucweb, or bolt browser, which all works fine. except for a little nag that is common with lg phones, you cannot access the file system.

kels, 21 Aug 2009The LG KU990 does come with 3G as well as 2G in order for 3... moresimply, if 3g signal is available the signal indicator on the upper righthand corner of the screen will obviously indicate 3g signal. you don't have to have someone video call you to test for 3g. or if you have hsdpa signal, the 3g indicator turns to "h" instead; other indicators that should show up depending on the signal available are 2g, "e" (for edge), and just the antenna icon for gsm signals.

Kels, 21 Aug 2009Work outside the circle especially when it comes to the LG ... moreplugging the phone to usb port won't work transferring files into the phone? actually it should as i do it that way with my ku990. just be sure your usb connection setting on the phone is on file transfer, not data.

I just bought a phone from his auction as well and advertised as new and all. When i got the package in the mail, it was completely knockoff box and stylus and everything. The phone i got even had pictures and videos of people in it already so maybe it was someone else's phone and just replaced all the casings and stuff.
My opinions about the phone though is on a positive note!! i love the phone. the camera even though the colors are not as vibrant as some of the SE i used. has alot of settings that you could play around with. also, i like how it vibrates when you touch the kpad. Only thing i have problem with is i dont get much signal inside buildings becuase its only triband and us uses 850mhz which this thing doesnt have. But overall im happy with it..

whenever i turned off my viewty,3g indicator will not appear anymore.unless you swap sim.3g indicator will restore.is there any fix for that..?

Please dont buy it from ebay from ray_onlinestore.
It is a copy and faulty. I have raised claim with paypal.

Well Peoples, i hope ive helped a majority of you guys out, Now its time for me to go but il be back. one last thing before i go, If your phone is doing the out of ordinary things a mobile phone shouldnt be doing then its faulty, Very faulty so keep those reciepts and take it back where you got it from. If youve dropped it, then its classed as personal damage and theyd probably blame it on you. Be very careful. Oh and im with Virgin on my LG KU990, so if your wondering why you have to pay $80 to unlock it, dont do it. you tell them you want your code and theyl give it to you without you paying for it. Thats how it should be. Vodafone customers just log onto vodafone.com.au/unlock and bam you can get your code for free just follow the steps. Dont take it into the vodafone store they'l just charge you when yet you can get it off the site absolutely free. Now im goin overseas tommorrow NEW ZEALAND and they dont have virgin there so my phones no good to me until i get my code which will take 7 days, whereas vodafone takes less then a minute... k everyone im out now. so have fun pass the word around, Talk soon...

At... moreThats an LG for you lol... look if anyone is having problems scrolling into their files or just scrolling in anything its because it needs a software upgrade, once thats done it should be the best phone youve had since the 1st day you bought it. or if you wanna save money just use a stylus instead of your finger it works for me all the time, i think its better than using your finger, once the stylus touches the screen you see the difference straight away. I use my little sisters stylus that came with her DS. DONT USE A PEN it will damage your screen for ever.

Eli, 19 Aug 2009I am due for an upgrade and my current contract was on an o... moresend it back, The LG KU990 is a great phone but if your goin to compare it with sony erricson then id go with sony. i also have a SE phone as well as a Nokia, never ever had problems with them, I find the LG slows down when going into files after a week or so, It does my head in, But its great for photos games music calling people, The only sony erricson that gets on my nerves is a Walkman it came out late last year, I used to work for Mobile company, tried out all the phones when they came out but with this one you have to upgrade it about a month after using it cos it doesnt hang up when you want it too. it has a mind of its own. anyway hope that helps

Never download music or games from your own handset. Why? Because its a rip off, why spend up to $6-$7 on 1 game or 1 ringtone, Number 2.. do you have a computer??? that helps big time, and the final ingredient you need is a memory card. plug your memory card into the computer if you have a memory card slot in your computer, go into emobilez.com website click on games on the left you may have to scroll down a bit then click on LG folder, they have some great games for your LG KU990, and the best thing about it is there legally free absolutely free. Make sure to right click on the download and save target to your desktop on your computer then transfer to your memory card. If you plug the phone into the computer with your usb cable it wont work. it has to be MEMORY CARD ONLY. As for music that easy, download all your music from your computer to your memory card, OH btw, if you dont have a memory card slot in your computer then go to your nearest computer cafe and use their's, it would cost you $2 for the first half hour then $1 per hour after that, thats how much it cost at my cafe, but before your half hour is up you shouldve downloaded 20 games in that time.

Jimmy she, 20 Aug 2009 hi there Guys i have this phone for 3 month and i am ha... moreIn order to watch youtube you must be in a 3G area, and also you have to have credit in the phone, It should work great if your on a plan but prepaid customers get the ass end of it ,coz you get charged, i dont even know why they put it in the phone, go into your web browser download the free version of youtube and save it to your bookmarks, you shouldnt have any problems with that one, i use it alot and i dont get charged a cent.

The LG KU990 does come with 3G as well as 2G in order for 3G to work you have to be in an area where 3G is available. Say for instance if your near a Phone tower where everyone recieves reception it should work very well, try getting someone to VIDEO CALL you from there 3G PHONE if it goes through then your in a 3G area if not you might have to move a lil to the left or a lil to the right. Trust me it happens to me, The only part of the house that i can use my 3G is when im sitting on my bed cant use it anywhere else in the house, think it mayb because we and our neighbours have satelite dishes and it stuffs up the 3G but it works even better when i walk away from the house, so i hope that answers your question.
