For the photo/video mode (slide the switch on the right to the bottom), it doesn't show the picture/video I captured in first page, instead it shows some misc photos that I stored inside my memory card. So how do I configure it to show the pic/video I captured last? Liks is there any sort but date in the photo/video browser mode?

Just got one. Love this phone. In normal use the battery can stand for 2 - 3 days (24 hours). Quiet satisfied with this phone. To bad the 120 fps can only recorded on 320x240 pxl resolutions.

Terrible phone.
Battery life VERY unreliable. If you don't use the screen at all you can stretch to 2 days. If you use the screen, if it's on for 1 hour the phone is dead. So much for surfing if you scared your battery will die lol.
Touchscreen is terrible. Loses backgrounds etc. Just generally a major irritation in my life. I would prefer to have a nokia 3310 to this piece of crap.

how does the flash work? i can't get mine to work. even in dark areas, it wont auto flash

i think taht touchscreen mobiles are not resistant and it is a worst version that KU990 ,. why LG makes the same mobile without 3g.??

i have had the viewty for not even a year.
it is a great phone, (i did research before buying it instead of the iphone)
overall it has features in some areas that are better than the iphone, eg better camera, flash, bluetooth, video recording, video calling, longer batter life ect.
my first viewty i had (my first one got stolen cause its such a good phone) it had a fault that took 2 weeks to get repaired. it would not pick up the external memory card. my second one, (which i had bought off my mum cause she liked it so much) has 3 faults that are driving me insane right now. number 1, the message tone, when on normal or loud, will sound until it times out, (about 5 seconds) even when touching the screen to cancel the noise, it does not work. *sigh* the other flaw is that the msgs screw up when the inbox and sent boxes get near to full. the whole phone stops working and no buttons work unless you take the battery out. number 3, it has crap service (i am on telstra and it is an unlocked vodaphone phone i think) ill be on the phone at night and it will hang up. grrr.
overall it is a lovely phone. perfect for someone who wants to upgrade to a cheap touch phone but doesnt want the hype of an iphone.
what would deffiently improve it would be having more than 300 text messages memory. *sigh*

i have this phone for about 4 months and i didnt have any problem at all ... it is a great phone ... better than N95 ... :P

hello i live in argentina. we don not have 3g, so the stores are spending the lg ke 990. is the same phone ,. but is not 3g ,.people doesn´t know about this ,.the same price

bought my viewty from The Communications Store (cash deal)new years in the pacific mall, toronto thinking
this model had the sliding lense cover as seen in an internet article and that it supported gps .
result;no lense cover and no gps (who would have thought gprs meant something totally different?)
since package opened they wouldn't let me trade up for something else.
now 2 months later the phone displays "no network" .LG canada won't support this model and the owner of The Communication Store cannot be contacted .
other complaints are:the image stabilizer is ineffective ,there is no on screen keyboard , just cheap ABC shift keys , i find i must recharge it every evening if i use it at all .
this isn't the first time i've had problems with LG products , although usually it's with "made in china"
LG printers , optical drives and devices having moving parts . my new LG 22"lcd packaging was marked "made in korea" but the monitor is embossed "made in china" which may constitute false advertising .
now i'm using a nokia3500 costing me $230 LESS than the VIEWTY(KU990)with the old sim chip .

This phone is a typical touch screen mobile, it comes with a 5 meg camra with the option for a 120 fps video recording, and the abilaty of useing manual focus, the phone comes equiped with many photo editing software, as well as movie adding software,
One of the phones key features for selling could be the fact it plays Divx
The operating system is flash based, althou this can leave the phone rather slow and laging, it does open it up to modification (so if you want a cheap iphone look, it's possible altho this does void warrentee and can cause system problems
As far as useabilaty, it has all the standerd features with the option of useing an on screen qwerty keyboard during text messiging (sadly not avalible while browsing any web/wap pages)it has a 100mg built in memory,
However this phone does have faults, as with all touch screen phones regardless of make it is prown to scrathing, so protective cover is a must for ownership, also regarding the messeging service you can only hold 300 messsages (this include sent and recived) a maximum of 5 memos.
as a genral review, if you love taking phots, videos or watching films on your phone this is a great buy,
but if you are a heavy user of texting or want durabilaty i would recomend another type of phone

I bought this phone on feb 08 and from the start I am facing the problem in battery (power off within 5hrs) and touch screen. I gave this for repairing the same defect to the authorised service centres for more than 5 times and till date this defect exists.
It is very discusting & bad from my experience.
Rather than this one of my friend bought a LG prada and in that set also the power will not last for even more than 5hrs(standby.
So my humble request to everybody is that don't ever buy an LG mobile phone by mistake.

it is so cool, i haven't got one yet but i'm buying for my bday and it is coming up really soon in march and 3 of my friends has it thanx for telling me it is fricking AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi i just got this phone 2 weeks ago and have problems connecting the phone to pc. Even if i'm lucky to connect it, i cant drop anything in it. anyway i'm using usb mass storage.. pls help me..thz=)
