LG L90 D410 (kitkat 4.4.2) has WRITE PERMISSION restriction on EXTERNAL SD card with third party apps defaultly. Usually kitkat version only has the issue. so anybody likes to remove this restriction permission, only the way is your device to be root. otherwise not possible. Regarding this issue i sent mail to LG developers, they said 'we will forward this to our concern dept' .there after no reply.
After that i mailed to some other developers like XDA developers, kingo root developers as regards this issue. they said the only option to ROOT your device.
These steps to root your device from KINGO ROOT developers (only for LG L90 D410) :
Connect your phone with system. After downloaded that exe file (link to download exe file: http://www.kingoapp.com/android-root/download.htm) open & run with your computer and it will shows root button & click the button and wait. That software will reboot your phone after rooted so don't unplug your phone till it rebooted. keep computer & mobile to 100% charge while this process.
Before doing this process any apps(like antivirus) using device administrator rights means deactivate it in your phone.
That's all.
If any body did root LG L90 successfully with these steps mail me to iyyan.om@gmail.com , because i am still under in warranty period. If its completed, there after i will do the same process in future. that's why.

Want to double battery life and charge your lg l90 FASTER?
Go to setting>general>apps>all...
Then Choose each apps those you dont need and disable them.(eg, drive,google play movies,face unlock,favourite contact widget,downloads,google+,hangout,play games,remote callservice,tasks,talkback,print spooler etc you CAN enable them whenever you need).once you disable,these will free your ram memory and stop running on background.so do, and feel it yourself.
I have even disabled google chrome coz i use internet,(it has better optimization)

But what about battery ? This phone has one of the largest battery to power consumption ratio. So what's wrong BTW ? I think some app is misbehaving. I too, had a similar problem. I rooted then installed 'Wakelock Detector'. Turned out that some of the apps WERE indeed misbehaving, preventing the phone from sleeping. Thus, sucking battery.
You can't go wrong with battery unless you ended up with a fake L90. I ordered it from Amazon BTW, so it was genuine.

The screen definitely has some protection, most probably Gorilla Glass, but, scratch guard is something else. No company ships it with their phone, L90 is no exception. I bought the Nillkin case and it is rock solid for my phone.
Not good, unless you turn it all the way up to 100%. This isn't AMOLED, but an IPS LCD. Sunlight legibility isn't the best, but manageable.
Who buys a phone for the bundled headphones ? Those are the extra goodies, not the sole reason to base a buying decision.
For video calling alone, this wouldn't suffice. The VGA won't do wonders.
For browsing, I don't know what exactly you're looking for. The screen is bright. Performance is just like that of any other device.
As for battery, this phone will last more than you. Okay, kidding. This phone has a huge battery, HUGE. So I don't think that is a disadvantage.
The only disadvantage from YOUR POV is, bad front cam because you make video calls.
Pick some other phone. The selfie phone, for example, meets your requirements perfectly.

Is this phone made in china? I bought this phone yesterday but when I removed its battery I saw "made in china" written on the phone back side of the phone
. Please check yours and confirm me if it's okay. Please please I'm extremely worried. And its battery backup is not up to the mark. Plese do replay me.

Hi it's Silpa from Chhattisgarh. I have some questions about L90 dual.
Is its front vga camera really useless? Not good for video calling?
Does it have any screen protector?
What about its display visibility in sunlight?
I have read that the ear phones are of very low quality. Is it true?

I wanted to buy this phone for video calling so front camera is important to me. and also for internet browsing so battery is important too.

I bought the phone for 141EUR (no contracts and it wasnt on discount)
I have this phone for over a month and i guarantee that for 140EUR its a total value for money.
Screen quality is very good even though i would like it a little more bright when iam outside.
Sound is also very good and on calls you should never max the volume because its way too loud.
8Mp camera at 3264x2448 (4:3) is excellent for its price and the camera quality is medium,
I found Knock code really usefull and i recieved 2 updpates on first 2 weeks tha made the screen colours extremely better than before
Overall conclusio its a tottal VFM for 140EUR i spent,tottaly satisfied with the phone and iam looking forward for more LG products.
