Used iPhones for years. This is the first Android phone I bought. It is HORRIBLE!
The Android OS takes up nearly 5 gigs of phone memory.
It is slow & cannot multi-task.
I cannot download or view PDF files (even tried with multiple pdf apps).
It is not compatible with iTunes, or Mac.
All in all this phone & Android is a frustrating disappointment.
This was my first Android. It is my last Android. I am going back to Apple. At least Apple products are reliable.

Have been using LG Leon for a couple of months, it's my first Android after several iPhone models. Generally, the phone works perfectly. It has overheated once when Pedometer app crashed, otherwise there have been no problems at all. The battery lasts up to three days with normal use. A bit slow loading with some apps, esp TomTom, but this is not disturbing. The camera does quite a good job (at least good enough for me) :) In a word, I would say that Leon is a great phone and reasonably priced.

phone is horrible. battery life sucks, overheats way to easily i might as well use it as hot hands. camera blury and sucks ass. messaging is glitchy.

in all honesty the only thing that loads pages is ram and you only have 1GB of it. never buy a phone that has less than 2.5gb of ram your phone will load everything slowly.
also you need a good internet connection for loading pages faster. and it may be slow because the cpu is slow and not cause of the internet cause the cpu is the brain. and you have a slow ass brain in your phone who the hell gets any phone with less than 2ghz of processing anymore?

This phone is fucking terrible. The camera quality is mediocre, the audio quality and recording is terrible, the "draw a pattern to text" Swype ripoff is worthless, and voice recognition is a joke. On top of that, I had to get this phone twice. The first one had a SOFTWARE ERROR that caused it to literally just not work. There are glitches and bugs everywhere. Texting is chunky and slow, the letters will all randomly capitalize. There are several lock codes, including the gimmicky Knock code. At least, there USED to be, until an update removed them. It's a damn slow phone. Battery life is decent, at least. It was $150, which is better than most. Oh, wait, Samsung just released a phone for $130 that is far better than this one. This one's screen resolution is 480. The new Samsung's is 720. I do not recommend this piece of shit at all.

The camera takes 5 megapixel photos and HD videos. Battery life is very good. No problem with battery over heating like some are claiming. Conversations are clear and reception is excellent. This is not a video game like I suspect some are trying to use it for.

I like the phone, but fully charged it last about 3 hours then the battery is flat. It also get warm when charging, any ideas?

Anonymous, 29 Mar 2016For people complaining about speed and memory and lag and c... moreWhat you must remember is its a quad core 1.2ghz which which was nearly high end only 2 years ago also the screen resolution is a lot lower at 854x480 instead of 720p or even 1080p on the high end phones that's why this lg leon can run this smooth it has less to render on the screen than iphone5, 6,7 galaxy s5,6,7 etc..

It gets blazing hot and the battery drains super fast when it gets hot. I was at 45% and one hour later at 15% battery. All I can do is turn it off and let it cool.

Seemed good value for money in the store as it had Android 5.0 Lollypop for only £80. Read the manual, moved my SIM card (it takes mini-SIM cards one size smaller than regular SIM cards), put it on the USB charger from my PC. It fried and has gone into fastboot mode "Loading keystore failed state 5 [570] USB init ept @ 0x8f1df000". Dead as a parrot.

Mr.Smartphone, 29 Mar 2016i had the LG Leon for a few months now and i really hate it... moreyou meant in September or November but LG is starting to suck big time So they need to rethink the whole touch screen situation and when you are charging your phone and it says its charging well its not it get hella hot and dies while on the charger.
