I have two questions in regards of this mobile.
1.Does this mobile caputes video for more than 20 sec. by adding some different s/w?
2.Can we have videos recorded with sound by addind some s/w again?

Please answere these question as soon as any one can........i really have to make decision within a day or two.

    Add this to the list of shortcomings:

    * Bluetooth Headset supplied with this handset could not be detected by this phone, while my N-Gage QD detects it in a jiffy

    * Phone-PC software doesn't work. While the phone is detected, XP spews out a "unrecognized hardware" dialog What's worse is that LG's support site is not comprehensive enough besides, the .inf files for XP are not available anywhere on the web :(

    * After all this, I really doubt if this phone supports GPRS-EDGE. This is like going back in evolution :) This is a Wrong phone if you expect it to behave like a Nokia.

      Impulsively purchased this phone and ended up disappointed after getting to know the features...or the lack of it.

      The only outstanding features are its sound, with dual speakers and MP3 playback with playlists and Camera. It cannot even get close to Nokia when it comes to performance. I had an NGage QD before, that used to be a tad slow but it run symbian which allows you to multi-task, switching between applications just like you do in windows.

      M4410 doesn't record videos with sound, which I thought was ridiculous with such a good camera.

      Front LCD shuts off in 60 seconds which defies the whole purpose of having it in first place!

      I couldn't figure out a way to install java apps (.jar) which most phones in this class support.

      Usability: s*u*c*k*s bigtime! For instance, T9 is so much more easier with Sony, Nokia and Motorola. Nokia is the undisputed when it comes to usability.

      Don't be fooled by the competitive pricing, you only get what you pay for. This phone is a wannabe Nokia!

        The phone is too good... I faced oone problem in this... I am not able to connect to my comp. First time it connected and then after that it is not got connected... ANother oone is i am not able to add cotacts photo in the address book.. Pls help...

          I bought this phone about 3 weeks ago,
          You can set mp3 as a ringtone !!!! after you moved it from your sd card to hanset.
          This phone is OK for someone that doesn't like to play with phones, It doesnt support 3gp and that is SAD! But it does have some stuff that is nice, But NOKIA still Rules.
          Go big and get I-Mate.

            It's a great phone.I've got one now.At first it was pretty annoying but now I like it.Camera is the same as in Samsung D500.It's a pity that you ca't record a movie,at first I was shocked.But there is a fuction Silent movie recording..
            Display is great.I made many pictures for a smaller screen with Windows Paint (the size is 96x96).It's also sad that I haven't found any games for this phone,but this phone supports Java.You also can't zoom in a photo you made like in Nokia phones.But I like this phone very much.The sound quality is great!I also like this phone because of it's appearance..

                hey i was quite in terested by the looks and i am dissappointed with the performance....
                can any one suggest any help as if to know if i can play video songs (what ever format)
                in this mob.. if so how can i get the player
                its urgent....!!!!

                  Everybody seems to say it supports 1gb memory cards, but the manual only mentions 128mb as the maximum limit... has anyone tried a 1gb memory card on the phone yet?

                    i read it on the brochure that this fone supports up to 1GB and it's not my problem if it can't use on ur fone

                        I bought this phone because of its great looks - Inspired by Porshce - looks like a streamlined F1 Race Car !

                        also - I was taken in by the offer of Freebies with it - Bluetooth kit, free 64 Mb SD card, hands free kit etc. However I am a bit dissapointed in this phonne in terms of features.
                        Pros - large crisp screen.
                        Great mp3 playing out of the speaker phone.
                        Good video quality.
                        Easy to handle.
                        Caller id with image attached.(main screen)
                        LARGE numbers diplay.
                        Great Layout of keyboard/controls


                        It does NOT have a speaker phone (confirmed).
                        MP3 can be played thru the speaker, but you cannot use the speaker for 'hands free' mode.
                        The front display is very small - The contacts image does not show up in the front screen , it shows up only in the Main screen - as a result if you set your phone to answer on open the flip - you can never 'see' who is calling !
                        Cannot set mp3 as a ringtone. Only the 2 delivered mp3 tracks can be set as ringtone.
                        Only mid or mft ringtone files supported.
                        Video format is a totally unknown lmj format other formats NOT supported (hence you can't play 3gp files or share your video with other make phones).
                        Does NOT have FM radio. Any image cannot be uused as a image for contact - it has to be a image of specific size taken from the camer itself.

                        All in all a good value for the money (Rs 12K) but for some one looking for all the features I would suggest go for Nokia 6111 which is just Rs 2,000 more !

                          poor phone,sinse at 1000 rs more u will get a new phone everyday,nakia walkman,unvieled lastnight at los angeles is a complete package,which changes colour everyday and has all its body made up of lcd panel only,and can view anydirection.

                              camera is unfit to use, there is no video player for downloaded videos i suggest not to buy this phone because is not worth for money

                                    Hi all, I'm from Brasil, and i bought a LG MX500 musicshot (look like M4410). My problem is: The software into my mobile is Brew, so, I can't install java games. But, on my mobile has a external button to record voice, and if you press the left button, the external display lights on, and you can see the status of missed calls, time, etc. Someone knows where can i download the software M4410 to test on my MX500 ? ?                                         It,s a worse mobile phone i ever used. I used it just for 2 hour, and than i sell it. It can't compare with Nokia,s phone. You can,t send contact with text massage, equalizer for mp3 player did not make any chages to the sound, mp3 files can't use as massage tone.
