I was looking back on photos. When I went to see which phone I was using I was surprised that it was the LG Motion. I loved the phone. The first phone I owned that was able to use the full internet. Looking at the specs is so shocking. I paid 150 dollars for it at the time and thought it was a great price. Now I own a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 pro. I paid 230 dollars for it - which was an amazing deal. Amoled screen 120 hz refresh rate and a 108 mega pixel camera. Wow how things have changed. It was nice going down memory lane with the Motion.

This was one of the best phones I've ever had seriously for its time it was ahead of the game I wish I still had mine just to have I'd still use it for games, music and movies to free up space on my new phone I'm a Samsung guy mostly now but I wouldn't mind this phone brought back with updated spec for a 2023

Man.. this started it all for me. My first android phone and phone with a usable camera. I loved this phone so much.. I rocked it well into 2014 and then with a raise at work I upgraded. I'll never forget this little badboy though. I gave to my younger cousin who broke it within a couple of days but he was careless Im sure. I will never forget the first night i got this just going to sites and downloading apps and realizing phones were going to become an important part of our lives.. this was the one that did it for me. I was too poor for ihpones and stuff like that back then. This was a budget phone i got through metro here in California. And it roooocked

I looooved this phone, its design compromises were genius, the iPhone SE 2 of its day. like others, I still use the two i own for all manner of little tasks. with replaceable batteries and respectful handling, these puppies are immortal.
LG and SONY would have been wise to study what made this phone so great.

One of the best phones I ever had. Actually exceeded expectations. Mine still works, if only I was still on Metro, and if only the network it was on were not shut down...
More phones should be as durable and feature rich as this. A new device with a few of the standard features in 2020, like Fingerprint/Face Unlock, more memory, more RAM, a modern power sipping CPU and a slightly higher resolution screen would still be a huge winner in my book...

One of the best budget phones of it's time. One of the few phones that exceeded expectations. Had a faster CPU than advertised, and more features than were listed on the box. More memory than any other phone in its class at the time. Had a FFC (Selfie Camera) before they were popular. Got occasional updates. No longer works because it is CDMA only.
I still have this phone, used as an alarm clock and web browser/media player.

I love my LG Motion. I have had it for about 3 years or so. However, I am not happy, though, that it has only a small amount of internal memory for Apps, and I can't even download anything new, or upgrade the existing ones. I have already deleted "non-essential" stuff, and it did not help. And, the camera and video quality are not that great. Camera is "ok" for up-close things as long as your hand is steady, but video is always very grainy no matter what. I hate to have to replace it, but the lack of internal memory is a sore spot for me.

I love this phone. This has been my phone for the past 3 years, all throughout high school. The phone is durable and has taking so many falls. Small enough to fit in pockets but the screen is big enough to play games and watch youtube videos, atleast for my tastes. The phone has its issues but rarely ever messed up. The battery life is really bad, just keep it on airplane mode. If I dont leave it on airplane mode or bring my charger by the end of a 6 hour school day it would be almost dead. But this phone was my first smartphone and was a really great introduction into smartphones.

This is a great phone. A lot of bang for the buck. I have had this phone for 3yrs. It was better & cheaper than the 2012 & 2013 Samsung phones. This phone can out perform the LG Optimus 60, Lg Optimus 70 & Samsung Galaxy II. It contained some bloatware and the camera could be better. Good investment.
Calls are clear. Connectivity good. 4G Mobile Hotspot worked like a champ. Used phone to record lectures in college classes: sound quality superb.
Durable phone. Dropped several times; popped battery in & back on, worked like new. Takes a Lickin' and keeps on Tickin'. Buy Again: YES. Recommend: YES.

For a cheapish mid-range device, this is probably as good as it gets for a Metro phone.
I've had this thing for over a year, and sure it lags from time-to-time and every once in awhile an app will go full retard, but it's also pretty out-of-date and was never a tip top phone on the market.
This phone really gave bang for the buck and I'm a little sad that it's reaching the end of its lifespan, but it sure did give me a good run.
Sadly, I'm not too sure that this phone can even work with Metro anymore since they changed their radio thingy.
However, this still makes for a nifty portable media device and works pretty smoothly, so if you just want an mp3/wifi surfing device I've seen this on ebay for $25 and that's a steal for all this baby has to offer.

My LG Motion (LG MS770) shows that the CPU is at 1512MHz max frequency. I'm really wondering this.

Ive dropped this phone more times than I can count. It got buried in the snow while it was on during a snow storm and took me 40 mins to find it and I wiped the snow off and dried it and no problem. Finally after two years of abuse my 4 years old son was able to crack the screen by stomping on it while it was face down on the concrete but after 4 months of a cracked screen, its still going strong. About as reliable and indestructible as a phone can get.
