DUKE, 19 Nov 2014To force Android 5.0 OTA update follow below steps on Nexus... moreDuke n framework we have to unchecked notification to ad wait first from1970 to update time, ad finally reboot keep on checkingtill time updated and nnotification blinks. It's a hassle ad terms to be a factory reset, which may wipe out your settings fr notification too.

I got Lollipop update today evening,But I am totally confused because some body are telling there are some errors coming while updating the software and flashlight and WIFI option is also some problems had posted somewhere so what is your opinion guys.......

Kami, 18 Nov 2014I updated my nexus 5 in pakitan and it's fantastic. Auto rotate option and galley removed in 5.0 Lollipop Update

I am located in India and had received the update notification in the morning today, but I wanted to do a factory reset before updating. I ignored the OTA update notification and did a factory reset, post which the OTA update was gone. I tried multiple times and 2-3 hrs but no luck. I thought I had to wait again for few days, but fortunately I came across your comment, and your advice worked... Thanks a ton. I have the lollipop now. ;)

To force Android 5.0 OTA update follow below steps on Nexus devices
How to force Lollipop Update on your Nexus Device:
1. Go to Settings > Apps > All > Google play services > manage space > clear data.
2. Go to Google Services framework > clear data > force stop.
3. Go to Settings > About phone > system updates (it should say last checked in 1969 or 1970 :D)
4. Click on 'Check Now' & waight for refresh...
5. Reboot phone
6. after rebooting immediately Go to Settings > About phone > system updates Click on 'Check Now' & waight for 5.0 :D
THIS WILL WORK IF YOU WILL MAKE EVERYTHING RIGHT....!!! :D
