I have thought of a cure for the 'loose butt... morei got it from the play store and im worried the replacement might have the same issue what are the chances of me receiving anther one with a loose button I don't think google will open the box and check for me is this button problem something common still with the newer phone.

I have thought of a cure for the 'loose buttons' problem (which I still don't believe).
You claim that you bought your N5 last Thursday. That means that you have 12 months warranty on it (unless you bought some old second hand thing which you should have have checked thoroughly before buying).
Just take your nice shiny new phone back to where you purchased it and demand a replacement.

Lollipop android 5.0 for nexus 5 may get released on November 3rd or it might not. Some rumours say we will get it later in November and others say rollout on November 3rd. Either way I wouldn't get your hopes up for a November 3rd rollout.

Coating on the screen has worn away in places due to heavy gaming, headphone jack is in a dreadful place for me when gaming, screen sensitivity at the bottom is poor and getting a lot of static in the headphones now. Very disappointed that nexus 6 is a phablet so I will keep my nexus 5 for another year. Apart from the little niggles the nexus 5 is a great phone considering the price.
