I recently buyed Nexus 5 after getting good reviews from the people already using this set for quite some time.My personal experience after using Nexus 5 says i went with the right choice.

I love this phone, but there are a few quirks that need addressing. The battery is not sufficient, at 2300 mAh, for the Snapdragon 800 2.3 GHz processor. I would say that I charge the device at least twice a day. Since I am not working at the moment, this is not a problem, but I would out of necessity have to get a different phone if I was. I suspect it is a few apps that are causing the massive battery drain... when the massive CPU kicks in it just sucks all the power out. I would say an 800 or 805 Snapdragon needs at a minimum a 2800 mAh battery.
I love the Nexus line, but my experience with this phone leads me to think only a Note 3 or 4 has the battery necessary to stay away from an outlet. A small caveat, I am using apps quite a bit, but I think that a smartphone is a smartphone, if I treated it as just a phone I may as well pay $50 for a feature phone.

Hope we hear something in next month or so really waiting for Next Nexus ,,better battery is a must plus 805 chipset,louder speaker but same quality.Not bothered about QHD display there is n point and slows phone and uses more battery.
Design of Nexus 5 is very good hope next one has good different eye catching design,,love the big camera lens on back and NEXUS written on it to distinguish it as Nexus device..

I set it to 2g, because mobile internet is just to update weather and download emails, I have great signal and excellet sound quality. If you realised this problem, why didn´t bring it back and asked for a replacement?

i Am Using nexus 5 since 3 months and still no problem faced,but now with latest updates google camera i have problem with camera ,alarm :: not initialized camera :: until turn off cell then turn on cell don't have problem until 2 or 4 hours . please help me

nick, 16 Sep 2014My suggested device would iPhone 6.-_- it does not have the same price as the nexus -_- iphone 6 is very expensive and still the same i dont feel what you get for an expensive phone that can beat 2x less price than the Iphone.

This is a brilliant device. But not a good phone at all. Let me explain. It doesn't receive calls quite often, which is an important function of any phone. So here's kissing nexus 5 good bye.

Its the best android phone you can get at the best possible price. Its "totally" lag free unlike many other androids. Very light and thin that you would be surprised holding it for first time.
Great hd clarity
great speed
very good camera
great design
everything simply great.
If you want to buy an android which is equally good as high end android cell phones (NOTE 3,XPERIA Z).....this is the one.

Battery last between 3 to 10 hours... moreI agree that the battery life on Nexus 5 is not very good thanks to its full HD 4.95 inch display which is not well supported by the 2300 mAH battery. But I personally have enjoyed 7-10 hours of battery with moderate usage. You could try switching the location mode to battery saving when you are not navigating. Use auto-brightness. Some of my friends tell me they have used it for 14-15 hours without charging. May be it varies from device to device.

Reading some of the reviews and i don't know which phone have you people have been using.. it is a brilliant phone with very fast processing speed.
lag and bug free.. 3d games and overall 3d is great and the price is great too (You don't get better in this price).
As far as the battery goes, mine is working fine more than 10 hours easily..
Buy this phone if this is your budget worth every penny
