nexus 5 will get first android L I'm very satisfy with nexus5 I got red version and I love it camera is cool 4.4.4 very good no lag very fast Samsung bloatware is bad its slowing down phone but on nexus not possible very fast

No. The IC board in the phone will protect it from overcharging. I have used a 2A charger on my S3 which only came with a 0.5A charger without any problems.

roc, 08 Sep 2014Hey I'm using galaxy s4 ryt now. will nexus 5 be a worthy u... morego for htc one E8 dude. i was going to get nexus a month back but than E8's launch was near so waited for it. Its a great phone. you'l get all specs of N5+ good camera n very good battery n display. also its antutu benchmark results are better than all current flagships.

AnonD-43136, 08 Sep 2014Nexus 6 and nexus 9 lol! We will be straight after them. I'm gonna get the Nexus 6 if you ask me. Just because it's still pocketable (thank's God it's not a 6" screen). Go ahead get it when it's available, but for me I'm gonna skip Nexus 6 as my current phone is still more than capable to handle daily task. Also android L update is almost here.
You are about to make the best decision inyour life by purchasing a Nexus device.

Warning to all new buyer of this phone that being a user this is an extreme delicate phone with expensive screen so brittle that it easily crack. I had this experience twice in last 4 months.so dont suggest know any one to but this phone.

Camera is perfect to me.Recently I had a trip & got some cool photos.Even it's a 8Mp camera it takes some decent photos. I'm also enjoying selfies with my Nexus 5.Lens blur is a cool feature.It may not good as HTC One m8's tap to focus.But it's enough for this price.

You can throw any android games available and never have to worry about lag.
I can't comment about camera as I don't use camera that much, but I think it takes okay pictures
Battery life is decent imo. I never turn off my data and gps, and yet I still can make it through the day.
Overall this thing is a beast for its price.
Ps: android L is just around the corner. Guess who's getting it first?

Overall, the phone is great. No lags, really fast when it comes to booting up and opening apps, and from my experience, charges as a fast as an iPhone. The only two complaints is have are: 1. Bad battery life. The battery drains really quick, but had the same issue with my iPhone 5. Just hope they really do improve the battery with the next update. 2. Really wished if the nexus 5's white and red variants were fully white and red, instead of just having the back of the phone being white or red.

I don't use FB but I've heard bad things about that app on mobile phones.
RE: the charger problem. It could be that. I use this charger on my phones. It has a 2A output and really pumps the juice in fast.

AnonD-43136, 06 Sep 2014Just recently I have had a couple of problems with my nexus... moreyes, me also same. after kitkat 4.4.4, my phone battery drain very fast.With 3g data on, light data usage only can last 6hours.Bought that time with 4.4.2, battery very good with ON 8am with charged 100% till 7pm, battery remain 60-70%
