I have problem with USB connection/Windows!
A few days ago I used Nexus 5 for Wi-Fi hotspot over USB cable between phone and laptop. After that, when I connected Nexus over USB to computer, I can't see mobile phone on computer (Explorer, Windows 8.1). Before that everything was OK.
I see Nexus on Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers. But I can't copy from/to Nexus anything.
I tried connect on several comp - same problem.
I tried other phones (Samsung, Lenovo) - everything is OK.

This is the best phone tu buy at this price guys ...he is so fast and samsung or iPhone is nothing in confront ...

i got a nexus 5 as a gift and in the beggining it was awesome the camera and speeds was very good BUT after a week the wifi and bluetooth is now not WORKING AT all.
bad news is its a gift so there is no receipt for warranty and i feel shy to complain to the person who gave me

How good Nexus 5 is? I'm having a hard time thinking which phone I will buy (Nexus 5, Htc one or Xperia z1) ranging $500-$600? Can somebody briefly discuss and help me for choosing? Thanks :)

Urgent buyer, 16 Aug 2014Which one should i buy S4 Or nexus 5 i just wanted to know ... moreNexus 5 my choice. Very light and a pleasure to hold. Also cheaper than the s4 and better performance. Not really much difference in handling as both are compact for the size. If you hate the onscreen buttons on nexus then s4 would have to be the choice but more and more apps are now running immersive mode which hides the nexus onscreen buttons meaning you get to see the full screen. Super Amoled on s4 is very pretty but colours are too vibrant for photography. If your a Sammy lover then go for s5 as it beats nexus 5 on performance and will get more updates than s4. S4 is old news now.

S4 very capable phone but unless you get lte-A version then you end up with the rubbish octa core or a Snapdragon 600 - both of which are slower than the snapdragon 800/adreno 330 in the nexus 5. Oh and I doubt whether your crummy plastic s4 will even get Android L this year. S5 is the competition to nexus 5 not the s4. So be happy with the richness of your old former plastic flagship with out of date chipset.

Nexus 5 just a less impressive mobile incase of S4 you will feel the richess when you hold it in your hand which is not foundvin nexus 5 or lg g2 .
Samsung touchwiz is attractive addon when compared to dull lg and google stock android UI.
If you want to feel the above just go the multi brand show room and feel it by holding S4, G2, Nexus 5 in your hand for comparision. and u will feel it what I mentioned above :)

There is no sort facility on the native email app that I use for MS exchange.No 'mark as unread' etc. It doesn't allow to respond to calendar requests on MS Exch. All these r there in Samsung phones. Even after clearing history,it sometimes takes back to cleared sites which is dangerous. Not properly tested.It is better to non google branded phones as they have added features and more tested.

I can't buy it. no radio. i comute a lot and radio is my share of news and music. not everybody has unlimited data and even those don't have coverage everywhere. google pls put radio in the future model and u gain more customers
