Every thing is just fantastic but the front camera is not satisfactory. Hope Nexus 6 would have a better front camera. Nice phone. What a Phone.

Skype call quality is very good, as long as you have a good connection(3G or 4G if using mobile data, or fast enough WiFi connection). I use my Nexus 5 everyday for skype calls(usually have a 15-20 minutes conference call every weekday) and it's never disappointed, as long as there's a good connection

Price is also the same as midrangers so its hardly something to complain about as everyone knows you get what you pay for. If something looks too good to be true then normally it is. That said the portrait keyboard is terrible and inaccurate lol.

This phone sucks big time. Microphone issue is a very common issue in all nexus 5 devices in market. And same is accepted by Google. I have got 4 replacements in 30 days and the 4th device I got also has microphone issue. Google had no choice to refund my money only after threatening to sue them in consumer court.
Check this forum before you consider buying this waste phone.

The price of Nexus 5 16 GB version on Google playstore is $349 while the price at the LG show-room in Bangladesh is about $520 (Tk. 40000 in local currency). That's almost one and half times more than the actural price. That's crazy. I am not interested to buy it by paying the double price from LG store. On the other hand, Google has no playstore support in Bangladesh. So I can't buy from Google either.

Nexus 5 on 3G lasts upto 30 hrs while on the G2 it lasts upto 45 hrs. The Nexus 5 will be supported by google upto April 2015(18 months) while the G2 will be supported by LG upto August 2016(3 years). But, if you want to be first in line for latest android updates then go for the Nexus 5. So decide what you want to buy and do post it here. Cheers !

Anyone else concerned about the build quality of this phone's hardware?
I love the speed, and (of course) no bloatware, but the feel of this phone is like that of a moderate, mid-priced phone, at best.

Hi,
Need some opinion for my Nexus 5. I just bought this device last month... The battery life is OK for the 1st month using it..If i went out to work at 8++AM, around evening at 6pm..still left around 30%.
But now, the battery will left 30% around 2++PM.
from what i noticed, got nothing to do with the camera usage than was a known issue before.
i only use whatsapp and FB during daytime...
Is this normal...or my device do have issue?

Its been 2 weeks since I got it from Amazon and its been brilliant. First of all, the battery is amazing. With normal 3g IM messaging, browsing, calIs its showing 45% battery (18 hours after charging). Its super smooth. No lag. Not a split second. The display is NOT WASHED OUT as you might have heard from critics. Its got very pleasant and comfortable to look at compared to the super bright and high contrast and over sharp Samsung and LG G2. The phone feels quite solid but I have got a case for it because I want to keep it flawless. Its a bit big even for my large hands but very manageable with two hands. The touch is ultra responsive. Ceramic buttons are solid and crisp. The sound quality with the stock player is very good. Speakers are not very loud but loud enough for my flats kitchen at least (its not a surround sound system, you know). All apps work fine. I got one crash but that was when I had downloaded some 3rd party theme. Just one though. I have solo launcher installed and it works flawlessly. Calling is loud and clear but a bit more low frequency addition would be nice. The stock camera is slow to focus though. I got camera360 instead and the photos are brilliant. Overall an amazing phone and worth every penny.
