why are you afraid if nexus line will be finished by 2015. i am 100% sure that most of the people change their mobile at least once a year. for me i am happy because each year i change my nexus phone to the next new nexus phone. this is life and i am happy that the new technology is updating fast

Google may end the Nexus brand in favour of the Google Play Edition.

Eldar Murtazin tweeted that 2015 will be the end of the line for Nexus as Play Edition takes over...I hope this isn't true!!!!!

OK, here is my deal. I switched from Sprint to T-Mobile and went from having a Galaxy Note 2 to the LG Nexus 5. First thing I can say is that the N5 has a great sleek design that fits great in your hands without a plastic slippery surface. The colors are great with an overall 'pop' in the screen imaging. I love the Androids 4.4 KitKat design and new look. However, there is not any room for customizing. Since 4.4 is so new, some apps have troubles staying on without crashing.

The N5 camera takes great pics, when it wants to get a clear focus in. Compared to the Note 2, eh I can say that at least the N5 tries to focus before capturing the picture, unlike the Note 2. Now that is only one problem with the camera. It would be nice if it wasn't always crashing several times a day. Occasionally I have to reboot to fix the crashing error. Which brings up another, not problem, but an annoyance. The N5 does not have a option to do a reboot only when you hold the power button. With that said, constantly turning it off and back on gets aggravating.

Today actually, when my preset alarms for work were going off, they suddenly stopped. I found that the stock Clock app that comes with the phone had crashed. Good thing I was already up!

The hardware on the N5 is great! I haven't yet experienced a lag or freeze. The Snapdragon 800 ensures that. Because of the greatness of the processor and the display, it adds 2 stars instantly. Now on T-Mobiles network, I feel I am getting cheaped out of fully experiencing it. A coworker has an S4 and gets signal where I do not. It was explained to me that since the N5 is a universal phone, to accept any service with a Sim card and not designed specifically for T-Mobile network.

The N5 does not offer WiFi calling on T-Mobile, which I found to be a bummer.

The battery life gets me through my 8 hour work day no problem, with moderate to heavy use on occasion. It does not have an expandable storage option, so syncing to Facebook, Dropbox and Google are the alternatives.

The speakers sound muffled at times when I replay my Snapchats and it does not go as loud as my Note 2 did.

I have also come across some issues with connecting to WiFi requiring signing in before you can use it. Sometimes the login page just won't load up, although this could be a problem with Chrome itself as I was never a huge fan of the mobile version.

The default texting app is hangouts, which does get some getting used to, if you keep it. It syncs to your Google+ account if you have one and occasionally becomes a hassle trying to separate texting SMS and to Google+.

Overall I think that the LG Nexus 5 is a great phone, for its internals and physical design. Software needs some major improvement. So when other phones start including the KitKat 4.4 and fixing the issues with application compatibility, it would be a fantastic phone for any user. If you are into rooting, I've read its pretty damn easy to do just that. If it were me and I was going to keep this phone, I would root it and go back to JellyBean 4.3. I give this a solid 2.5/5 stars. T-Mobile offered it for $396, can't beat that.

I'm using Nexus 5 since two weeks. Everything is good except camera performance which is below average in my opinion and after the update, picture quality is almost same as it was before the update, sound is very low due to which I can't know if someone is calling me on the phone if I'm in a crowded place and battery life is very, very disappointing. My phone lasts 6 hours of continuous usage with 2G Internet and about 4 hours on 3G. Video playback is smooth but after 6 hours of continuous video playback, the battery goes to 1%. Gaming, on the other hand, is smooth. Able to play whatever games I install as for now but phone is heating up and battery is draining very fast if I keep on playing a game on it for about 15 minutes. Very disappointed with these phone. /=
