There r many ways to get out of this, one of the way buy battery power pack branded Sony make of 5000 mah which can charge device 2 times at one go, costing around 2k. Its compact and can carry in pocket.

For my opinion, Im not really satisfied with this phone, even it has some powerful chipset installed on this device, it kills the battery fast! Im a heavy user, I use my phone for listening music almost half a day and watch youtube videos every lunch and play some games sometimes such as fairy farm, after around 2-3pm i ended up 23-31% battery left, I was just a little bit disappointed when I compare my phone to my brother's S4 and G2 that last 2 days even he listen music and watch anime on his phones. I even thought that my nexus has some battery defect due to fast drain of the battery then I search it on google and a lot of people are also having such problem specially to heavy user like me. But still this phone is fast, always the first one to have android updates :)

G2 gorilla glass 2 as nexus has gorilla glass 3.
G2 doesn't have wireless charging, no barometer sensor.
G2 doesn't HV document editor only you can view while nexus 5 gives editor out of box.
G2 still running on Jelly bean where as nexus 5 got KitKat 4.4.2 in future all updates will come to nexus first by default, don't know about G2.
Any bug in OS first google fix it for Google, later on LG developed and fix for there device.
Even though battery life is less in nexus all depends on how OS UI kernel ROM manages battery utilization. For any smart phone battery back up will not be more than day.
Price of g2 Rs 36190 and nexus 29990. Why to spend additional 6k????? Any strong logic/reason ??
Just for battery even 3000 mah is also not enough. For 2 inch bigger screen which is not even noticeable. For camera quality?? Every body has cybershot with them and nexus provided protruding lenses so that u can attach any branded compact external lense to it.

im using nexus 5....previously i ... moreHey nexus UI i like most as it doesn't have any bloatware like HTC, Sony, samsung . that's why its very fast.
Its raw OS and anyone can modify as per his convenience of use. HTC SONY SAMSUNG devices force users to use UI they have developed.
Ringtone I m able set as per my wish any MP3 song I can set as ringtone.
Searching app,contact or anything is most easiest way like apple, just type in Google search given in home screen.

Its processor is the current flagship-grade one, S800
Its much cheaper than other flagships.
It immediately gets all android updates for at least 18 months.
Pure android, no bloatware hence it is fast.
Only cons would be mediocre battery & camera & speaker, and also these are somewhat ok. (No SD card and non user replaceable batteries have become standard these days)

It's really cool mobile to have in your hands..It's comparatively very faster than other mobile and you can enjoy latest version.It's typical smart phone's battery..Camera works after the recent update..Why you need spend more for Z1..when new version is already available in Nexus 5 with blazing fast... :)

consider tis b4 u buy...
im using nexus 5....previously i was using htc one x....nd i find nexus lacks some basic functionality...i admit tis s d best i cud get fr tis price range...bt thn google needs to learn to develop UI...u cnt even change a ringtone to ua choice by default...given r d craps of 10 tones frm wich u av to select...editting features are lacking in functions...gallery is not luking gud.while calling ,the display takes a black screen fr 1-2 seconds.if ua ready to search an app for each and everythng ,go for it
camera: average 3.5/5
sound : speaker ;good 4/5, headphones;2/5 (fr one x:4.5/5 with beats audio)
UI; very bad 2/5
display;4/5 (amoled;5/5)
battery; 2300mah...im fine with it... 1 day fr avg user..nd dawn to dusk fr heavy user..!
things unique in nexus 5:
1.ok google which activates the google voice is awesome
2. u can search for any shops or organisations just from ur contacts
3. in 4.4 kitkat setting a wallpaper is cool
