AnonD-213945, 15 Dec 2013I am not very much tech-savvy , I just want to know Can I u... moreYou can use both of these on the Nexus 5.

            HOWEVER:

Google Drive will only store certain file types and it's not very easy to use as a mass storage service. But Dropbox works as just this. The great thing with the Dropbox app is that you can set it to automatically upload new pictures every time you connect to WiFi (or mobile data - but I wouldn't recommend this unless you have a plan with unlimited data).

If you're wanting to use either of these services to increase your storage capacity, just be careful of how much data you're using if you're not on an unlimited plan. Also remember with Dropbox that you can easily increase the storage you get without having to pay extra. Once you're signed up and ready to go, the app will ask you to recommend it to friends (or use the website). For every friend you recommend that signs up for Dropbox, you get 500mb extra free storage capacity. Even get your mum or your gran signed up. They don't need to use it, they just need to sign up and you benefit from it.

honeyzam, 14 Dec 2013planning to buy phone, still choosing bet xperia z1, nexus ... moreEntirely depends what's important to you from Android.

This phone is perfect if one of the main priorities is being on the bleeding edge of Android. This handset will always have the most up-to-date version of Android (until it becomes obsolete and Google no longer cater for it). The performance in terms of speed is sensational also - even faster than the Samsung Galaxy S4 in tests we've run.

What the camera lacks in megapixels it makes up for with its OIS (Optical Image Stablisation) which not only the Galaxy S4 doesn't have, but we're also reading reports that Samsung can't get it into the S5 due to not being able to have enough units at time of proposed launch.

This phone showcases Google's cutting edge design and take on Android. It doesn't claim to be the best handset out there, and it isn't, but it's a sensational bit of kit for an even more sensational price.

AnonD-202555, 15 Dec 2013How is the standby time of Nexus 5. How much does the batte... moreOver about 8 hours of standby time you're looking at between 5-10%. It just depends on what's still awake while you're asleep. If you receive notifications during the night, then unless you switch it off, the LED pulse will go until you wake up and look at the notification. Same goes for haptic feedback. Say you're tagged in something on Facebook or brought into a conversation on WhatsApp, every time someone adds to that, the phone is going to vibrate which will eat into the standby time.

My top tip would be to switch off the vibration and LED pulse notification light before you sleep (preferably data altogether) and you should see a pretty good standby time while you sleep.

All issues I was having with this device after purchase have been resolved in the 4.4.2 update; speaker volume, haptic feedback intensity and the annoying auto-selection of apps when sharing.

Just a little FYI: the Spigen SlimArmour case is fantastic. Bought it last week and seems to be a perfect medium between looks and protection. Does add a little bulk to it but nothing like an OtterBox.
