1) dial *#*#4636#*#*
2)go to phone information
3)set field preferred network type to wcdma only
I am from India using airtel network this solution is working for me now am always on 3g

Unlocked n 5 will work in whole world.If u r in north america choose D820.And for rest of world choose D821.Two different bands are only for Lte.

Just got my device yesterday, amazing device, superb build quality and awesome screen. Love it in every way. Extremely light (Previously I used Note 2) and all in all awesome, just need to get used to using the pure android without Samsung touchwiz extras... but it is worth it. Does not feel cheap like most Samsung phones...
Word of Advice, if you are from an asian country go for the D821 Model or else LTE wont work...

I am from India. Which phone should I buy?
1) Nexus 5 - cost - INR 33K for 32 GB
2) Huawei Ascend Mate - cost - INR 24K, upto 64 GB
3) LG Optimus G Pro E988 - cost - INR 30K, 16 GB internal, upto 64 GB
4)HTC BUTTERFLY X920D - INR 32K - 16 GB internal, upto 32 GB.
I'm a moderate user, not play games as much.
I have a kid, so click some pics here & there.
use google map frequently, use walkman (music) for about 3-4 hrs a day, internet for about 2-3 hrs, whatsapp is always running.
I am currently using Sony Ericsson Arc S. It's a good phone. Previously I was using Sony Ericsson K790. I miss sony ericsson phones.

Guys jst wanted to knw if nexus 5 has got dlna? The specs list in gsmarena surely list it..bt wen i had gone online it shows it isn't dlna certified..plz help wana buy this phone...thanx in advance..

Been trying to get MHL cable off my Samsung Galaxy S2 to work with no success.Cannot see any activation settings like TV out on Nexus 5..Anyone else got MHL cable to activate tv out,,maybe tv out does not work..??

I have this Phone about a month or so and in my opinion I belief that this Phone is the worse Phone which was ever made!
