This phone has terrific standby battery life. Wi-Fi ON + Cellular ON (AT&T/US) with LTE Data off and limited call usage, this phone has lasted 4-5 days on one charge. I have a 32GB Device. This phone has surprised me in terms of battery life. Very good feel in the hand. Two things I do not like about it - (a) camera quality is average and (b) Nexus style soft home / back buttons. Moved fro Galaxy S3 and that is what I do not like about N5.

I wish I can go back in time and not purchase the LG Optimus L9 P769 and wait for this instead. I did the reseasrch and liked the fact that the L9 has a removeable battery and micro sd slot. I figured I can easily unlock the bootloader and flash CyanogenMod on it to have the Nexus look and feel.
Boy, I could not have been more wrong. I should have figured LG, like any profit hungry monster, would not allow the bootloader to be easily unlocked and risk people getting that phone instead of a Nexus. Lesson learned.

Worst battery ever don't buy this phon, u will regrit. I resold mine for a 25 dollar loss but happy rather than 15% restocking fee from play store. Worst nexus ever.

Excellent phone but battery 2300 mah very bad ....I think in these type of phones At least 3000 mah..
