nothing special in nexus 5 except the kitkat version.Go for n4 it will also get kitkat update.

I have owned everyone of the previous Nexus models. I had to sell the LG 4 due to such a poor battery. I have been waiting for this phone for a long time & am really disappointed with the battery & the camera. The battery on this phone will not last at all due to the screen resolution. The camera should be 13mp at a minimum I was very loyal to the nexus brand & loved pure android but I feel that my time with nexus is coming to an end.

And of course there will be similar priced phones with Kitkat, they just don't out yet. Nexus 5 is very great though.

Nexus 5 affordable price set + the most power efficient inbuilt Chipset has many advantageous over their counterparts.

I have this phone for two days. Performance wise very satisfied. Although build quality is inferior compare with HTC one iPhone 5s or s4, but the price speaks for itself. Camera is not bad and quality is above average. Highly recommended as alternative if you cannot afford s4 or HTC one or Xperia high end series..

Hi everybody! Can someone please answer my question. Will the Nexus 5 work in the Philippines if it's purchased in the US? I understand that if it's bought from Google Play, the phone is unlocked but I read in a few articles that unlocked phones may be used for calls and sending text message but they may not be used for surfing the net, emailing, downloading apps, etc. Can someone please enlighten me on this matter.

why do you say battery is very poor? the stated specs give more than 10 days of standby time and 17 hours of talk time... that seems to be anything but poor to me...

@chaichi: some competing devices WILL get kitkat (moto X for example)... but i'm curious about your comment regarding the 'find your phone' feature... this is baked into google play services already and works on all version of android from gingerbread (2.3) up...
am i missing something here?
