Bruce, 05 Nov 2013I'm sure the LG G2 is a great phone out of the box, but goo... moreOptimus is not Nexus.

Nexus and it's software is backed directly by Google..the guys in charge of Android. Even Nexus 4 is getting an update to 4.4..and it was released ages ago.

Very good phone for the price and great user experience. IMO most folks are hung up thinking you will get the latest and greatest everything with the Nexus 5 but this is just unrealistic and just immature. This is a $349 16GB and $399 32Gb phone off contract. If you want every tick box marked you will have to pay way more than that. The point was to make a phone cheap that had a good experience and Google got this right.

Folks just need to reexamine their standards for a $349 or $399 device as if you look at other phones in the off contract price range. You will get an average phone at best for the price range the Nexus 5 is in. But Google gives you a decent, excellent device in a price range that apple can't even beat.

I am very interested to get this unit for my use. Is it already available here in Riyadh, KSA? How much is it? Hope to hear from someone reliable and knowledgeable. Thank you.

I don't mind about the storage cause i now use nexus 4 8gb and it's working good for me. as for people that say it only have 8mp camera, don't forget it also have OIS. that's good quality. i am only dissapointed by the battery capabilities but hey, it's new OS android 4.4, might have something that can reduce battery usage. i want this phone.

Disappointed with battery and no card slot. Battery should have been at least 3500 mah. I would rather get Droid Maxx as it will be updated to Kitkat pretty soon. Remember, Motorola is a Google company now so you can expect all the facilities in Motorola phones.

AnonD-190673, 05 Nov 201316 gb version is selling for 470$ where I live, so unfairYou're lucky. Any premium phone sells for at least R8000 (Almost exactly $800) in SA and with usually only one model to choose from, even the colour. And no Nexus has ever made it so far. Google Play should expand their shipping support for their Nexus products to more countries so that anyone could buy one for $349. It would totally blow the SA mobile market out of the water.

many competing phones in this price range wont get kit kat, and kit kat has a feature where you can find your mobile through google on pc if you ever lose it or it gets stolen, I think that's enough to persuade me to get this

kurbla, 05 Nov 2013optimus g2 is much betterI'm sure the LG G2 is a great phone out of the box, but good luck with future updates to the software.
LG make great hardware, but their software leaves much to be desired.
My experience with their Optimus O2X was not ideal.

I h... morewhy didn't u just get the 32gb version instead of getting a 16gb sd card? see that's the point, eventually people only want 32gb of storage, just complaining about no sd ard slot when they wouldn't even use it, google/lg have actually done a favor by making a 16gb version for people who don't download so much stuff

Aijaz, 05 Nov 2013Well, my fifa takes around 1.8 GB. That's because I've down... morewell then delete soma apps -_- I had a 16gb card on my htc one v still the card slot got damaged, I had downloaded many big games, angray birds, nfs, fifa 12, and only 7gb was used, 16gb is pretty good for me, and if people don't like the 16gb version, just suppose it doesn't exist and save up for the 32gb version
