atul, 26 Oct 2013What a shame? I had already decided to buy but now will not... moreAtul somewhat you're right but their is written at the top of specifications details that these are preliminary unofficial specifications, and I think I don't need to tell you the meaning, but still GSM arena can be true and Nexus 5 will have only 2300mah battery, but we don't actually know the battery management of new Android kitkat maybe google have something special at the software side, to minimize the battery usage

What a shame? I had already decided to buy but now will not. Such awesome specs/hardware with 2300 mah battery. No way, I am not buying it any more. It wont even last 4 hours after some initial usage.

Right now I own a nexus4 and I can't see much difference between it and the nuxus5 except in the software and thZ1."nano"sim.I also see that these specs can change when the phone is released because Google won't just accept an 8mp camera with 13mp in the S4 and the Z1.

Other sites is described with 2GB of RAM.

My concern is ther... moreSee bro google is manufacturing Nexus 5 for upcoming year, Snapdragon 800 is best processor until now but you know one thing developers develop apps or games according to hardware available, more the processing power more the developer can do with their products, imagine if I'm or anyone is going to buy flagship Android device and he wants to run asphalt 8 on it it'll run because it has Snapdragon 800 but if they ignore the processor and include something like 1.5Ghz quad core Snapdragon 600 or something else then people will not be able to play that title , and developers will be miss guided, as flagship phone of Android can't run a game then it means that it's not worth releasing it, and it'll stop creative minds of developers, Apple has gone 64bit this year Samsung is going 64bit next year so I do think that Snapdragon 800 is the LEAST they can provide, cause 64bit processor on iPhone 5s will open new doors for developers , and Google surly wants the development of their platform, that's why Snapdragon 800 worth it, as far as the battery efficiency on Snapdragon 800 goes it's still good, and we actually don't know the battery management of Android kitkat maybe google have something totally different on software side.
So all we can do is wait and reply comments here and there

Rumor after rumor appeared, but there is no sign of this phone to be unleashed. Really annoying

I agree with you at the point that there are several apps and games which requires huge cpu/gpu power, but are they really essential for phones?
I think Nexus devices should be the ideal devices for other manufacturers who want to manufacture android based devices.
I am not sure with Nexus phones whom google is actually targeting.
For normal use(majority of users) that much cpu power is not required. I don't know, may be my assumption is totally wrong...
