Smartphones, 05 Oct 2013This is a mid-priced phone with high end specs. Don't whine... moreI had hoped that just Apple would go it alone on the nano sim front

With all my security when my first phone has a micro sim that cause problems in putting the sim contacts from the old phone onto the new phone.

If there is a purpose for nano sims I don't know what it is.
Now I have to get a nano sim adapter for my micro sim and if I want to switch sim cards I have to somehow convinnce my OLD network I need a nano sim, without acutally getting a phone

What your read is what you get. This phone isn't made to be your main camera tool and definitely not made to outdo G2. However I believe this one's very affordable. Still I would grab the G2 over this one.

Understandably but unfortunately the Nexus line is a price point mobility device denying it a place as a true topend flagship level device. Specs lack sufficient internal storage not to mention SD Card support. It should also have 3gb or RAM and removable power cell. Baffles me still why Google continues to think the cloud is the same as having onboard storage.

Of course the 8MP primary camera is lacking unless they had used a BSI sensor which they haven't. The LG 8MP setup was OK but doesn't approach the newest 13mp OIS platform. It also appears to be lacking at least one sensor the G2 includes.

Of course by now we know the Nexus was never meant to be a cutting edge top of the line series of smartphones. A pity Google never offered variants from pricepoint model to flagship level.

Its still one sweet device and the first of KitKat phones. Personally I'd root a G2 as there's more to work with on the G2 variants. Yes even with the backside toggles which you get used to using.

I guess the camera resolution given is not for an 8 mp shooter.
