I have also found that my WiFi, which used to connect instantly at home, can now take up to a minute to find the router which is sitting two feet away from the phone. Every new version of Android seems to be getting worse than the last one. KitKat was better than Lollipop, and Lollipop is better than Marshmallow.

I also have the problem of a BLANK screen when making a call. The weird thing is that if you hold the phone in front of your face and you are looking at it then the dial screen lights up; but as soon as you move it away from your face again the screen goes blank again. The solution of pressing the POWER button once to light the screen shows that something is wrong in Marshmallow for it to act this way.

Not really facing any issues in Marshmallow now. I uninstalled the Google app updates and Now on tap works. App cache cleaners no longer work so to clear the cache you gotta go to internal storage and select app cached data and clean all from there. The up and down scrolling app menu is perfect and fluid. When playing games and getting a call you can still hear the game music in the background like on lollipop.. That is one bit of multitasking I could do without lol. Battery life is still poor.

mol, 19 Oct 2015Does anyone have this problem where the screen doesn't turn... moremine is not. in fact, i tried it right after i read your post. i made a phone call from my desk, answered it, and the screen turned on when i moved it away from my ear for a few centimeters. maybe your top left screen sensor get oily or dirty. because when that sensor do not receive any light, it makes your screen go off.

Does anyone have this problem where the screen doesn't turn itself on during a call ? Or it turns on after about 1.5 secs ?

Really satisfied with nexus 5 performance on marshmallow.
Good work google and lg.
Its a pleasent surprise to see 2yr old hardware still strong enough to run the latest and heavy android os without a gltich.
There are minor bugs here and there but its just software and can be fixed with a update.
Inshort very satisfied and love my nexus 5 even more now.
Marshmallow is perfectly stable with no memory management issues .go for it

after updateing my nexus 5 to 6.0, in battery section there is a sub menu called battery optimisation . it was the dose fearture of 6.0, but it seemes as not optimesed . several times i changed the settings . but still it return to the default mode showing as the google play service is not available now. CAN ANYONE FACE THIS ISSUE FRIENDS. PLEASE LET ME KNOW & PLEASE GIVE ME A SOLUTION FOR THIS....

This a a china made cheap mobile with better chips inside it. Performance is good but delicate. You have to have the cover panel for it. Else if the phone falls it will create problems. Apart from this overall phone us good.

Is there any solution for white background in Menu. It was good in KitKat but in 5.0 it change to white. Hows dt in 6.0 ? I m dying to change it.

I have a Nexus 5, i'm really very satisfied with it's performance. The only problem that i'm facing is that, i have downloaded dozens of call recorders, one at a time, but, It records only the out going voice and not the incoming voice. Please suggest how to activate it.
