I own Google Nexus 5 D821(E) made in Korea. I am currently in Gurgaon where airtel has deployed LTE. According to Airtel guys they have deployed LTE-TDD band 40(2300 Mhz) which is not supported by Nexus 5. But still i am able to see LTE in my phone and using the network with my LTE data pack. I have also tried it to switch on LTE Only to clear my doubts but phone worked with LTE as charm.

So looks like Airtel guys are lying about Airtel network they have provided in Gurgaon. Although i highly doubt it but still could it be LG LTE stack bug or hardware information i don't know correctly ???

GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz
WCDMA: Bands 1/2/4/5/6/8
4G LTE: Bands 1/3/5/7/8/20
Three different frequency bands are used for 4G LTE in India. Band 20 (800MHz), Band 3 (1800MHz) and Band 40 (2300MHz). Band 40 is immature and old as compared to the other LTE Bands. So new handsets may not support band 40. Check your operator's band in your circle before buy. NEXUS 5 DOESN'T WORK ON BAND 40. But works on 800 and 1800MHz. Operators offered 1800MHz band in India. BHARTI AIRTEL: All 22 Circles RELIANCE Jio: All 22 Circles VODAFONE: 5 Circles - Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Karnataka and Kerala. I have a nexus 5. It's an excellent phone.

Before I bought this phone I had a LG Optimus G which was slow, not reliable, bad phone call quality and very, very bad GPS. I need a phone for Ingress to. I gave this phone to my Mom and she had problems with it as well.

Then I bought the nexus 5, which is still my current phone. Everything is very good. Except for battery life and GPS. Other than that I have no other problems.

Solution to battery life: turn of all applications and turn of brightness.

Solution to bad GPS: log on to a WiFi network.

By Christmas everyone in my family had the nexus 5 exept for my dad (go look at my post on G+). Everyone has no problems with it. Out 5 five stars: 4.5

i'm use Nexus 5 and it is amazing phone. No Lagging, very smooth, and faster. Samsung have a killer spec, but still lagging and not smoth.

Hi guys I am from India i got nexus 5 in 2 days before by exchanging my note3 I am happy to use this phone its quit comfortable in hand..I want to know this phone shows it has LTE but its not showing the 4g symbol at all it support LTE or not
