is nexus 5 still a better choice even after 1 year ? how is the performance of camera, battery, net surfing & other routine stuff ? I am new to Android & most people complain about lags, reboots, virus attacks issues in Android, does N5 face such issues ?? plz reply. thanks in advance.

I don't like the Photos app that comes with Lollipop either.
Go to the Play Store and install an app named 'Gallery KK - Gallery ICS' by Moblynx (the icon is a red square with a black border).
The ads are a nuisance but you can remove them for £0.89p

RayX, 17 Jan 2015what exactly is there to fix?I got 5.0.1 and I'm mostly jus... morewell there is one bug that overflows RAM memory and gets phone to restart, sometimes get into a boot loop. This is mostly the case with 5.0.1

AnonD-260735, 17 Jan 2015dont worry people, android 5.0 stopped rolling out cause it... morewhat exactly is there to fix?I got 5.0.1 and I'm mostly just disappointed from the minor battery improvement and that camera is still slow on focusing or taking shots (only HDR+ is worth using on it) but what Google probably got other things in mind other then to fix/improve a year old device.. But I'm not aware of any bugs really..

Hello Nexus 5 users!
I want to buy a Nexus 5 in kimstore here in the Philippines. I am just wondering how was your experience with it? Also, is the battery really that bad even without wifi?
BTW, as I have seen, I should not force update it to Lollipop right?

I have found a brilliant new camera app on the Play Store. It is called 'Manual Camera' and it is by GD Software (be careful to get the right one - the icon is a black camera with an orange lens).
It only runs on Lollipop though. It is a paid app but well worth the low price. It is still in development e.g. No video support or front facing camera yet, but it has a lot more settings than the standard camera you get on the N5.

ST, 16 Jan 2015Lollipop Sucks..Period.who ever facing problems with lollipop update just master reset the phone after updating it and then post comments on it. Hope so you can enjoy the usage of it.
