Hi I have nexus 5 android 5.0.1 and I woke up this morning to my phone being on the fritz turning on and off whenever it wants and restarting whenever it wants when will the next update come out and will it fix this problem

The performance of this is similar to the performance of the Nexus 6. How you ask? Adreno 330 can run 1080p as well(or even better) than Adreno 420 can run Quad HD. It will also get new updates since it is a Google device. Also it has a 5" Display which should be a typical size for a phone. Nexus 6 is just too big to carry around. The only reason to buy Nexus 6 would be the Quad HD display but the PPI is almost the same and wont make alot of difference
All in all, if you buy the Nexus 5 you are getting a phone that is similar in performance to the Nexus 6 for a much lesser price!
Just buy it!

After updating my phone to android L aka 5.0, I'm facing a serious issue regarding camera. My camera won't work if HDR+ is inactive. it just hangs and flash remains on. In other words, i can not click images with flash mode on/off/auto mode. Kindly provide any suggestion for this concerned issue.

You lucky man! I wish I could go back to KitKat,Lollipop is such a bug ridden mess! And it's UGLY as well.

itz a very bad phone so plz dont waste ur money on it.. if one little drop of water or fog enter in it then ur phone is dead nd service centre not provied any warranty about it..itz my personal experince ...itz totally wasteage of money

I have a nexus 5, and the battery life is amazingly improved if we go to developer options and check do not keep activities. That will improve battery life a LOT

i purcased dis fone 6 months ago....nd let me tell u ...dis is awsome ♡ ...der is no lag or hangs ....der is no app in da world which dis beast cant run.....though it became unstable after the lollipop update ....a simple factory reset can make it okay again ...loving it till now

All who have migrated to 5.0.1 and getting bad battery life, give a factory reset. I have flashed it and installed fresh 5.0.1 and the default tricks to save battery like, GPS, WiFi, Location etc and getting 2 days backup with average use. 2 day battery backup for an android is quite good I think.
It's camera is awesome, I have snapped some shots just unbelievable.
In my case only problems are low sound, takes longer to charge till now.

AKJ, 30 Dec 2014Hi Guys...I recently updated my N5 to 5.0.1 and since then ... moreJust give a factory reset and install the 5.0.1 again, follow some tricks regarding GPS, WiFi etc., you will find many tricks easyly in google. Hard reset will improve battery. I am getting 2 days for average use.

Great improvement on the sound quality on music player but there's an annoying sound interference I don't know why. Drains battery fast on 3g H+.
