Bought my Nexus 5x in February 2016 from Google Store and after 15 months it bricked and is now stuck in boot loop. I except it is out of warranty and I don't intend on purchasing another LG phone for the next few years.

Yup, my 15 months old 5X caught the boot loop of death on Saturday. Such a shame as I really liked the phone.

Battery started to drastically reduce its endurance on September.
Phone dead today.
Suspiciously too close to other posters date. 2 years after manufacturing

Running on android oreo 8.0.0 so far only issue troubling me is the network, suddenly it shows no sim card and i have to do 2-3 restarts to make it ok.Any way to sort it out?

I also faced the bootloop issue on my Nexus 5x within 19 months of usage. The phone got dead and the technician says it is a hardware issue which will require motherboard change costing half of the amount I payed for my phone. So I have to just throw it away now.
Bad experience with my first and last purchase of an LG phone.

I bought Nexus 5x phones last year version 7.1.1. Awesome phone with great performance. Last day I’m using Facebook APPs suddenly phone are freeze with doesn’t work and may be dead. When are phone restart display Appear in GOOGLE Logo then phone is OFF.
Which is problem? How can resolve the problem.

It lagged in start a little, but after last updates, it works really ok. Good thing if you like selfies is that you now have "flash" on selfie camera too, also turning on/off mobile data and some other options is now even more simple, settings many is completely redesigned (liked old design more), beside that, didn't notice some other differences.
Btw, I see many boot loop isuess here, I bought mine in june 2016, and it still working great, but it's already one year and 4 months. I'm almost waiting for it to die, based on reviews here, because there is too many ppl complaining on it. Will be sad if that happens, because it's great phone. If it happens, I will report it here too...

Both my sister and I bought Nexus 5x phones last year. Awesome phone with great performance and got one of the best cameras even though it's 12mp. Unfortunately, both phones are dead just after 14 months of purchasing. In my opinion it's just a waste of money since you don't buy a phone worth $390 to throw it away in a year. So, if you want pure android, either invest in a Nokia phone which is more affordable or invest in a Pixel which is said to be better than Nexus. JUST DON'T BUY LG NEXUS 5X IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD ANOTHER PHONE IN 12 MONTHS.

If you want to buy an expensive brick, go for it. The bootloop thing happened to half o the several Nexus 5x phones our company bought and it's not fixable. First time in 20 years I've had to deal with such a sneaky phone company like LG and it will be the last.

This is the best phone ive ever had...camera amazing....always kept in a hard case with screen protector . had it since launch day..2 years and still running good...cant find a reason to upgrade yet

All I can see in the feedabck is that the phone died after a year. I'm going to swap it for a Pixel 2 so I don't suffer the same fate and have a paper weight in my room.

Never buying an LG phone again. my phone bootlooped after 12 months because of a hardware issue. It used to be a great phone, but for its price it should last for atleast 2 years. For anyone searching for a phone you should avoid buying an LG.

Great phone until it went into bootloop
(i think all opinions of this phone start like this...)
Mine is under warranty and is being looked throu right now. its a shame tho. The worst part is, i work at a phone shop and our technician even said, nope. just send it to warranty or throw it out the window. So if i might get it back i'm gonna sell it as fast as possible
or trade it for a ps4

Great phone until it died 16 months after I bought it. Out of warranty and LG refused to repair it. Apparently this is a very common fault due to poor design. Very disappointed in Google and LG. Never again
