When will people *get* that android/linux is/are nothing like Windows. Unlike Windows they never find themselves "out of ram" (they simply kill other processes) and unlike windows they never have "too much ram" (they use it for disk-caching, a.k.a. making your system ultra fast).
So yeah, your phone never exceeds 1.5GB, that's why it's ultra-slow even when compared to my $130 phone, merely because I have more Ram than you (3GB) and thus everything is cached in my phone. Paying $400 for a *slow* phone is highway robbery.
Nexus were never good phones, but this one takes the cake. It's hardly better than 3 year old Nexus 4...

I will not buy this phone for one reason only - it's too huge for a 5.2-inch screen!!! 147mm!?!? Seriously? Look at Moto X Play, same size but with a 5.5-inch screen? Just plain terrible design..

Everyone bitch1n about the 2gb ram is kinda stupid, for the price-point and specs it is more than sufficient, my G2 never exceeded using 1.5 gb of ram no matter what I did and that got better when lollipop came out and used less. From what I know marshmallow is also very well optimized and uses the same amount of memory if not less.
The battery also more than sufficient, the 808 is a better chip than what the G2 has and draws less power also the GPU is superior so no complaints there.
As far as storage I do think that 32gb should be the bare minimum or if it is 16gb than it should actually be 16gb and not 11gb or 12gb of actual storage space, as far as micro slot goes I see no reason to be seen on any upper mid to flagship phones.
And finally price wise, if it is anything above 350$ it's not worth it.

So Google has doubled APK size limit just in time for release of a 2015 superphone with only poxy 16/32GB storage, marvelous. It would cost a few pounds extra to fit 64/128 GB since it is 2015 this is not apple you know.

looking good... but i'm a little disappointed, same RAM as the original nexus 5, not only that less ppi for a bigger screen; meaning is not gonna be as sharp as the original one. WTF!

my guess would be, that they made too many chips and need to use them all up...

I have Nexus 5, i love it, hope 5X will be grat too, I am considering to upgrade to 5X! Like Nexus 6 too, but it is too big!

That said the Nexus is always behind I remember my Nexus S and just them few months later dual core cpu's arrived and Nexus S was outdated.

I had 512 Ram BLU $77 on sale and is about the same as my screen crashed Nexus 4. For $400 Nexus 5X - I will wait for the sales goes to amazon next year(46% off) or maybe 2016 5X. Good luck Sundar and Nexus.
