Great phone. Best camera at this price range (same as 6p), performance is smooth and the battery lasts longer than many 3000mAh devices (such as Zenfone2, LG G4, etc.) It even runs a few degrees cooler than most devices, excellent thermals as tested by notebookcheck.
The best features for me are the iphone quality IPS panel with very accurate colours, the fast fingerprint sensor which makes it easy to secure your device, and the rapid charging 50% in 30minutes.
It also gets system updates every month as it is a Google phone after all.

last two years used my xperia m dual.. it's still rockzzzzz....only problem is,internal memory very low...
now,I have nexus 5x..
no heating problem..
camera awesome...
complete charging time -1.30 hr..
gaming performance -no lag,I played modern combat 5 and asphalt 8..
but,user RAM-750 mb only...
finally, it's worth buy...

Easily the worst phone I've ever had - I have had a Asus Zenphone 2, a Karbonn sparkle V and an iPhone 5.
Heats up all the time, camera is lathargic and everything is very very slow. Battery is perhaps the worst in any phone
Don't waste money. Skip Android if you can, but if you can't, certainly skip Google phones

I know that LG Nexus 5X does not have features like smart stay or scroll..but did there is any other features that can beat these terrific features of Samsung..

Anonymous, 21 Feb 2016does the nexus 5x has heating issue?Yes it does heat up ... I guess it because of snapdragon processor ...but no lags in performance ... Gurrentee ... I play clash of clans all the time so it heats up ... But cools down also fast ...rest no problem

It lets you choose when the slow mo starts and finishes with a bit of a ramp effect but so far I can't figure out how to export it or save it at those points. When you watch the files on a computer it's all slow motioned.

I have been using this phone since December and I am so happy using this. It gives very smooth performance and has a superb camera quality and it performs superbly well in low light. It's rapid charging is very awesome and it takes hardly 1 hr 15 min to charge fully. But it drains also quickly if you play games. And a bit of heating problem is there (which is very usual for a nexus phone) . In my opinion if you are going around this range of phone it's the best your money can buy ☺.Hence it's a power-packed phone and if you are a photography lover then you must buy this phone.
