This phone is a tank. I got my phone a few weeks before but I dropped it in the bath. However this may sound bad but it still works with the occasional flickering. This is still useable. It is so durabale. I would still recommended to put it in a bag of rice if put in water but it wasn't really needed. As this still worked after the soaking

I just bought the nexus 5x two days ago for rupees 23000 and initial feedback is it is simply awesome. Great camera, finger scanner is blazingly fast just touch it and it opens no lags. Overall no lags, screen is also great. Overall a nice phone for under 25k range!

Nexus 5x is a perfect phone. No hanging, Touch is fantastic, No lag, Camera quality superb, Sensors works great, Fingerprint works great.This phone is a like a future phone. Gaming graphics are also great. I mean this phone is awesome. I'm using this phone since 28th December 2015 and i faced no issues. Just one thing I'm disappointed about is battery back up. They say that it has 2700mah battery but it works like IPhone 5s battery. But Doze mode is awesome of this phone. They say Marshmallow 6.0 drains the battery.I know Google will find a solution about the battery backup. Overall this phone is great. If you're budget is around Rs-30,000 Then I'll say go for the Nexus 5x.

my usage review ::
using this for last 3 months.
pro:
- good and stable OS.
- good camera
- better battery life.
- better charging time
- Display is good. though its not AMOLED but its good for every day usage.
- physical size is good for single hand usage.
- so far no heat issue.
CON:
- expandable memory
- should have duel speaker.

comparison with Samsung galaxy S6 family: definitely S6 is superior then 5x. BUT whats the fun of having a superior phone if thats battery dry out at the middle of the day. rather i prefer a handset which lasts for whole day.

Nexus phones used to be a value for money option in era were the other flagship had nearly double the price and were behind in os, nearly a year later.
Nexus 5x, has many many limitations, so many, that it doesnt really worth it anymore.
32gb S6, Z5compact, G4 and moto play all cost the same in Europe as the 32gb 5x
All have much better battery endurance, nearly double, much better premium feel, more confortable handling and much better bazels.
The camera and performance is now excellent for all and the difference is of minor importance for the average user, most of the flagships get the OS upgrades 3 months after the nexus and are all supported for at least 2 years, just like the nexus. (see how they dropped support for nexus 10? )
So the nexus phones have actually lost most of its advantages (vfm, great performance, fast updates) and is only left with its compromises ( no sd card, no tv out, or otg support, no removable battery, horrible bazels, cheap looks, worst battery endurance in the business, no dual sim option etc)

ike , 26 Jan 2016purchased nexus 5x from amazon,recieved today it seems to b... moreu can contact the seller about the problem.amazon will have your money refunded within a day.u request a z grantee to amazon.or u may tell the seller to send u another phone.as long its within the grant period.it happen to though it was in case of the iphone 4,i was refunded.
