How do you plug it into your computer to transfer all your media? no card slot obviously and cable supplied is usb-c to usb-c. I cannot use my 2 amp charger, cannot use my battery back up and cannot use my usb otg . Why did they not supply usb-c to normal usb?

I am surprised they still operate as such but is evidenced by the fact they usually are empty whenever I pass by. What a chance of fortunes they could bring (and revenue) if they were more professional like the old days (or like phones4u when they were around)

The Carphone has gone down hill used it since about 2002 when they had all the O2 XDA,BB,Sony Ericsson P800/900/910 all sorts in. They were superb for having nearly every phone sim free/payg/contract and always had special offers on old stock,,nowadays very expensive and not much handsets on payg ..With me buying new handsets rarely and mainly second hand don't do too bad but agree Carfone not what it used to be.

AnonD-440236, 19 Oct 2015Guys if u are not happy with the specs of 5x for around 36k... more'Best of all running on top of sense 7'...nexus users do not want sense or touch whizz or any of that bloat ware. First impressions of the new nexus 5 are that it's made even more cheaply than the original... The speaker is supposed to be even worse than the original which was bad. Basically there's no way I'm buying it as the reason I bought the original was it had the best chipset you could get at the time of release. This latest one has a chipset that isn't flagship grade and that 2gb of ram you get isn't the faster type like you get in many flagships today. To be honest I'd be more tempted to go with last year's nexus 6 as it has come down in price drastically and you actually get quality with a premium look. When my original nexus 5 came out the galaxy S flagships were still plastic so you could easily compare them...plastic rubbish is no longer acceptable and you can do better for your money now.. Like a one plus 2 which has a latest version of the snapdragon 810 chipset inside and it doesn't overheat... Too much lol.

Well This is a let down, I have not seen the yet but the specs are pretty mediocre.

A full HD Phone with 2700mAh... Battery will not last a day even if the new Marshmellow Android is efficient in that department.

On paper Xiaomi Mi4 looks better than this phone (without LTE) but with a 13 meg primary 8 meg secondary Full HD 5" screen and 3080mAh Li-Po Battery and Snapdragon 801 with 3 GB RAM and Mi4 was launched 1.5 Years back.

So Google need to stop getting into the shoes of Samsung .. providing mediocre hardware for premium.

Guys if u are not happy with the specs of 5x for around 36k for 32gig variant, just like me. I say that its worth while taking a look at HTC ONE ME it has been launched in july 2015... Now it's price is 33699k in ebay and only 35199 in amazon.... It has an awesome duel tone finish (i.e. Metal n polycarbonate) it comes with 3 gigs of ram 32gigs internal 2Tb external, 20mp rear camera 4up (ultra pixel) front cam, fingerprint reader, 2.2ghz octa core processor, no heating issues , 2850 mah battery, QHD display, 566ppi, promised marshmallow update within a month n best of all running on top of sense 7 UI..... So it is a good choice if 5x is a bit let off... Im certainly going for this one...:P

Got a hands on late last week. Sat all three colors down in front of me and basked in their glory. This is a very nice piece of hardware. I went home and ordered one. Feels very light and almost one hand operable. The UI is fluid and flawless, 6.0 is what I had hoped Lollipop was going to be. I have finally found the successor to my beloved Moto X 13 dev ed. Still rocking my Nexus 10 and hoping to get some marshmallow fluff for it. Cheers.

Swap between most platforms iOS/android/blackberry but windows misses out on my music apps and them dots that fly onto screen then off again annoy me,also feels like I am swiping far too much.

I feel its time to bring out something new and ideas will be their on drawing board (like concepts) it is battery that are hindering everything plus foldable screens not ready yet. My dream device still is Nokia E90 style device running android.

This is what I do with all the 100's phones I've had.

Screen test for dead pixels and how it performs sunlight, colour depth i.e. is it good colour or pale and then a sideways test see how much it fades.

Audio through headphones and voice tonal quality through speaker for podcasts playing etc.

Cam quality in auto, does it take a nice clear shot with good contrast. Is video recording stutter free i.e. smooth continuously when played back. My Sony Z5C I sent back showed 4k video stuttering and jerky whilst recording on phone screen but when got home it was ok.Earpiece tonal quality in phone calls plus able to handle nightclub bass sounds when video recording.

                                      Battery test,do 2.5 hrs mp3 playback, 40 mins video recording, 40 photos,10 mins phone calls,10 texts sent/recieved, plus 30 mins twitter 30 mins web.

If it fails on any it goes back. Most fail on audio thru headphones, cam quality, microphones cannot handle nightclub sounds maybe battery (have battery back up thingy).Too big.

So most phones will suite most folk only me being picky in some areas but I like convergence and want it all in one device.
