AnonD-8044, 07 Oct 2015You will get all you want with LG G4 but some (tech blogs) ... moreTnx for your time and the advices..My only problem is that G4 costs 400 € here and the nexus devices its kind of expensive and hard to find in Greece(im an LG user by the way)....So i guess i have to get a G4 if i cant find a nexus for the right price...Tnx again!

AnonD-91083, 06 Oct 2015What should i get? this or the G4....and why...?You will get all you want with LG G4 but some (tech blogs) are starting to report some bugs and slow downs overtime . It is a good smartphone.Top camera.

You would only really go for Nexus if you want bloatware free device and you get latest updates. Some phones will take months to get Marshmallow ,if ever. You get a blank canvas with Nexus and build your own phone from scratch with software you want. You will not get best cameras and speakers like LG G4 so you have to choose. Many folk get a Nexus and face drops when such a lot of stuff is missing,if you come from LG even Sammy,Sony etc all their skin is gone and that shocks some folk. Even tho still made by LG the add on apps you get on G4 will be gone.

LG G4--Everything you want but updates slow, bloatware, slowdowns.

Nexus 5s--superfast, bloatware free, bang up to date software smartphone.

Else both just Android phones of 2015 that will do everything you want.

AnonD-91083, 06 Oct 2015What should i get? this or the G4....and why...?I know specs wise its not quite as high as some things available, but I can tell you as someone who has had a nexus 5 (the model before) Its been the best phone Ive owned, the gorilla glass is a feature that is completely underated ( I throw my phone around, drop it when i cycle, let my 5year old cousins play on it) not a single scratch on the screen. Specs wise aswell the camera and speed of the one I use currently which is now coming to 3 years old almost keeps up a lot. If you want something with understated, that will last and keep up, I think this should be the one to go for ! Definitley getting it when I upgrade.

Bilo, 04 Oct 2015Guys I don't see anyone commenting on the 2GB RAM, Really B... moreI am sure LG will have tested this with 3GB RAM and found no increase in performance so left it out,,also maximum of 32GB storage means less files loaded into RAM. If this was 64/128 GB of storage it is possible that all that storage is music so multi amounts of files will be loaded into RAM . That is what I have heard and not in anyway knowlegible to know if it is true.

Bilo, 04 Oct 2015Guys I don't see anyone commenting on the 2GB RAM, Really B... moreAs you may know nexus 5x is running on android 6.0 marshmallow and with this new OS 2GB is sufficient to run this device smoothly and LG will also ensure that the software is well optimised with the specs.

Guys I don't see anyone commenting on the 2GB RAM, Really Bad, the Original Nexus 5 which was launched back in 2013 had 2GB , which was competitive, now in 2015 The Samsung Note 5 & Galaxy Edge Plus both have 4 GB, and other Android Phones are selling 3GB including Sony Xperia Z5 & S6 , what the Hell Google ? Really 2GB ?

All this battery arguments (it is 2015) would be solved with putting a decent battery in.

Right they give us fast charge as excuse for these phones well when I am out at an event where do I charge I have no car, ok some will say bring a charger and find a powerpoint well there is none at any events. Some will say by a power pack and charge, well if I am having to bring a power pack I may as well put up with carrying phone with big battery in first place.. Even If I can get to a mains supply I still have to bring a mains supply charger along.

These lithium polymer battery are pretty slim and small if 1.5mm depth to a smartphone brings extra 3-400 mA then do it.Usually I bring extra battery for events fully charged and just swap it out so back to 100% charge in under 5 minutes but oh no they are sealing battery in these days.

So they excuses don't wash with me just a compromise still in 2015.
