guys optimus 2x will only be launched after june in India so we got a long time to wait

LG Electronics India is planning to launch six smartphone brands on its Optimus platform in the second quarter of 2011. The firm is also planning to set up a new production line for smartphones next year at its greenfield facility in Ranjangaon Industrial Estate, near Pune.
“Our first offering, Optimus Me smartphone, will be launched in June,” said Vishal Chopra, business head, mobile communications, LG Electronics India. The other brands to follow are Optimus 2X, Optimus 7, Optimus Black, Optimus Pad and Optimus Star, he said. The smartphones, imported from South Korea, will be in the price range of Rs 8,990 to Rs 32,000.

The musicplayer is always running, not able to turn it of, so how much ram of the 512 mb is actually available to the user for multitasking..., not enough ram makes multitasking almost impossible regardless of dual-core?

Hi all, SIM free pre order on kingofgadgets(dot)co(dot)uk £449. Motorola Atrix 4G SIM free pre order £500 on the same website with my first choice dual core phone the Samsung Galaxy S2 SIM free the most expensive at £589.
To covert these to Euros, US/Canadian dollars, Yen, Rupees etc, just convert the above prices to your local exchange rate.
I am going for the Samsung S2 as it has the largest screen. Its battery is also stronger than the Optimus at 1650 mah. For dual core, you will need a strong battery. The Atrix has the lowest MP camara of the three (5MP) but the best battery at a massive 1930 MAH. In fact no mobile ever made has a stronger battery. S2 is slimmer and better looking. I also prefer the brand Samsung.

I've been reading reviews that the copy & paste function is very poor / non - existent. Please can you clarify this.
I use this function a lot and would be gutted if I got this phone and couldn't copy & paste from websites / emails etc.
What gives???

... moreMy Galaxy S can do that almost just as fast, I use ADW launcer and the it have transition-effects movin through screen, but it is still almost as fast.
I will maybe buy Optimus 2X, but I here there are some bugs in the software that force close apps... rather often. I have necer used a phone from LG and I fear they are not giving enough support and fast updates or bugfixes...
Optimus 2X is not so expensive as I think Galaxy S2 will be.
Fans and employees always say that their latest phone is the best phone in the world, that is very much so for IPone and Nokia, but even LG have employees and fans that over-entusiastic and writa a lot on Internetpages like GSMArena.com

sg2 is the new iphone. when the galaxy came out people disregarded the fact it was better than the iphone.now the optimus 2x has scored higher benchmark score than the sg2- not even considering that its on 2.2 which doesnt even support it to its maximum. but samy royal fans claim its the best.my opinion is only the optimus 3d is better

Im sorry to say this. the gs2 is the new iphone.when the galaxy came out besides it being better than iphone.a lot of people disregarded that and still considered iphone the best.now optimus 2x besides it getting a bigger benchmark score than gs2-not even considering it still on 2.2 which doesnt even support it to maximum.samy fans have declared it the best. blind royalty at its best
