Hi users of Optimus 2X..
Can any1 confirm usb otg on this
device?
I dont want to connect Usb
mouse or key board (like Nokia E6 can) but if it can
give access to just hard & flash
drives i.e. Pen drive, card reader
etc thn It vl b perfect for me..
Plz solve my this que..

there is a bug from LG itself,i too upadated to 2.3 from 2.2 from LG tools so LG people said my IMEI number is not showing in their system,then they flashed my mobile.. after that also the situation is same..
so there is a bug in Optimus 2x 2.3 version.
try to mail to LG India,so that they shud get this info directly from customers.

After update to 2.3 they software wouldnt recognize my phone as LG Software. Sometimes mistaken as a motorola software by other software. Need to go to the LG service centre to flash the device totally and reinstall the stock rom.

So they blame you on the first hand to mess around with your phone which is legal. My suggestion is to ask them help you flash the phone and see if it able to run the original stock rom.

whn i was on froyo 2.2 my free ram was near abt 250-260...bt whn i updated it to 2.3.4 gingerbread..ram reduced to only 200 mb free wht hapened...does smone hv this problem or notice it..

This is my phone, and I like it very much. The GPU is by far the best on the market (Followed closely by the Mali in the SGSII). The processor is a bit slow for the newer Android handsets (0.2 GHZ short) but it's not really that bad, since the GPU does most of the work (There is some basic GPGPU things). The design factor is comforting, and I love holding it in my hand, but the capacitive buttons need a bit harder press, with a thumb mostly. Not saying it's bad touch, it was probably made so you don't push it accidentaly. Battery is decent, especially with the update and some calibrations to the battery. Screen size is alright, would be better if it was larger though... Loudness is a bit down of what I'm use to (Full HD 3D Speakers) and the Audio Quality is very good. Screen is crisp and clear and looks very nice, not bright though, but it works good. The Galaxy R has more RAM and has a bigger screen size but a worse camera. I'm not sure what you like, but pick the one you want. They both have Tegra 2 anyway ;)
Also, this has almost stock Gingerbread (Only a launcher and 2 apps are there which don't really distract you, you can easily remove the launcher)

Last month i came to know that 2.3 update arrived to india for lg 2x, so i called so many times to lg mobile service center regarding 2.3 update they told not yet.. later i came to know that we can update from lg official software update tool. so i updated to 2.3 it was working fine, few days later my phone started to hang, so i went to service center they told me that updating like that by ourself will ends the warranty.. pls can any one help what i can do??? What the hell LG...
