I've had this phone for about 5 days now, and must say it's the best I had.It is super fast, no bugs, decent battery, excellent screen. I guess the reviews were mostly done on pre-release units, because they don't do the phone justice.

Ok i had the 2X for over 2weeks now and i am happy user.

        CONS:
1.It says 512mb but its actually 370mb then over 160mb goes for the UI and 210mb ram will left all in all
        2.The speaker could be better
        3.UI its a little lagy
4.Touch is not that sensitive but you will get use to it

        PROS:
        1.Gaming experience is great
2.Battery back up is fair anyway charging is fast(1h almost)
        3.Internet Browsing is very fast
4.Love the color reproduction with IPS LCD
        5.Camera is great
6.messaging and call quality is good

Bought is for 19.000peso(440us $) compare to GS2 it was 27k plus, I recommend this to everyone..and now just waiting for GB update..come on LG

Optimus 2X uses Duel Core so the speed is very fast. When playing a game with my friend, Optimus 2X loads faster than his smartphone. If users with an LG smartphone want to download various apps or games, I recommend to visit uk.lgworld.com

                    Hi,
I have the LG Optimus 2x for the last 6 months, my OS is still FROYO 2.2.2, baseband is 1035.21_20110725, kernel 2.6.32.9 and LGP990-v10D version. I updated to this version lately and it solved some of my random phone freeze which take place every several days and still does, bottom line LG does not know to build phones / good software, in addition they are the slowest company on earth while all other provided long time ago the GB 2.3.3 / 2.3.4 like Samsung or Sony Ericson. For me this phone represents very bad experience to include the bad customer service support. It does not matter if the this dual core is the cheapest phone out there if the phone simply stuck time to time and you need to remove the battery in order to restart it. I had my lesson: 1) never buy LG phone (and other equipments), products are far from being good and they never assume accountability as a company 2) Android is still not mature and many bugs, not to forget that on any patch you need to backup everything in order not to lose your data 3) if you want a perfect Smartphone - buy iPhone, the overall user experience is great and it works! 4) once iPhone5 is out I’ll buy it 5) regarding “open” system vs “close” system I think it’s nonsense since it’s a phone and once you install your relevant apps you would like to have 100% availability, not to forget the lack of Market application stability / errors

Yesterday I've "buttoned" (read "fiddled around with") this puppy in a Vodafone shop. Basically it's great and runs very smoothly with its new dual core CPU. It has also an amazing, good camera!!!

The results of the quick hands-on were good, but I'm uncertain a bit about its media capacity (sound). Music was played indeed in good stereo quality, but I've found that loudspeakers aren't so loud as they should be... I was forced to slide up the sound volume to 100% to get a reasonable audition with the media player, the radio, and even on YouTube music videos. Or maybe it's just me the unlucky guy who got hands on a defective phone...?

Now my question: there exists some software piece (something like a driver, or somewhat similar) that can "systemwide" working around the lack of sound loudeness?

It will be helpful if anyone could post an answer, give a tip, or even share its experience regarding this audio problem, and I would be grateful for it. I don't buyed it just because of this reason, but I like it very much otherways. Please answer to help me as I wanna buy it, the only one thing breaking me away from this being that low sound problem.
