i saw in the mall last week the LG optimus black and LG Optimus 2x is already updated to 2.3 GB out of the box i said to my self no way,,lol ..im planing to get this phonenext month..

Hi !!! I am from INDIA and using LG P990. I tried updating my O2X with LG software update tool but it still showing 'v10e' as the latest software.
So can anyone tell me whether 2.3.3 already came to INDIA or yet to come???

I want to buy a smartphone, and I don't know which one.
Samsung galaxy S plus for 139 euro or lg optimus 2x for 149 euro. The optimus 2x has better specs but the other looks better, and is samsung.

2.3 is out for bulgaria... USA and Europe versions must be close. those who already had their phones updated are saying that lg did a great job in 2.3.

Overall, this phone is very good on every spec it has.I own this one. I am just thinking, why it took so long to release the gingerbread version than the other did? Does the RAM change to 1gb or remains the same 512mb after upgrade?

Screen auto lock doesn't work and calling tune is low,even with changing the setings.This phone is the reason why I won't buy lg never again.They sell phones with last year's os with bugs and they pretend they don't know,that's really disturbing!!People it's just drivers,they sell devices that need drivers and some updates,someone buys a 10 euro pc part and it comes with a right working driver,what about a 500 euro phone?I don't care about lg useless add ons ons,I want just the right working drivers.It is a disgrase and ridiculus technology situation!
