Screen auto lock doesn't work and calling tune is low,even with changing the setings.This phone is the reason why I won't buy lg never again.They sell phones with last year's os with bugs and they pretend they don't know,that's really disturbing!!People it's just drivers,they sell devices that need drivers and some updates,someone buys a 10 euro pc part and it comes with a right working driver,what about a 500 euro phone?I don't care about lg useless add ons ons,I want just the right working drivers.It is a disgrase and ridiculus technology situation!

Just a piece of advice for ppl thinking of buying this phone: It's NOT (yet) upgradeable to Gingerbread, as GSMA says, and LG keeps saying "upgrade out next month" since april... In the other hand, CM7 (2.3.5) works like a charm (no fm radio nor a2dp, though) and the battery life equals my old Xperia X10, meaning I charge it once every 2 days of moderate use, or every night with heavy use...

As for the LG services representative. 2.3 Gingerbreak update will be coming to us O2x user on october. "Across the globe per week". So meaning we will enjoy the phone very much.

I run the android update through LG pc suite and it got completed but my lg optimus 2x is still 2.2 and LG pc suite is showing that phone is upto date

Hi all.
About battery life. I use cyanogenmod (gingerbread) ROM. My battery can easily survive the day. Its 2 pound to buy a new battery. Anyway its a nice phone with nice games. I can' wait till the next Tegra device.

km, 12 Sep 2011stay away from this phone...i get a battery life of 6 hours... moreBring your phone to the nearest LG service center. The battery might be defective and have to be replaced. Just make sure that you bring your receipt/invoice and warranty card for free replacement.

stay away from this phone...i get a battery life of 6 hours with no use. Everything is turned off, GPS, Wifi, Data, 3G is disabled, screen brightness lowest, there are days when i use the phone only for 10 mins (voice calls only) and still the battery is completely dead. It takes less than 20 mins after the battery reaches 30% to drain completely....

Can anyone comment on how weak/strong the vibrate is in silent mode? Need to have phone on silent, so would be good to hear if ppl feel it vibrate whilst walking out doors, etc

I have to question.
1. Im in Iceland. I tried to find v10e and andriod 2,3 for him using LG mobile update. They say its not available for my phone!?? why? (have Andr.2.2.2 LGP990 v10d)
2. Cant I take contakt bakup to my pc? Only to my SD-card?
