Yes, when you view Images and videos in 3D mobile like HTC EVO 3D and this phone, you can see depth in these.... its awesome experience

rekiano, 10 Jul 2012before i purchase the 3D phone, does it really work as a 3D... moreIt depends what YOU mean with 3d. I have tried out the p720 . And the 3d-effect depends also from the source. That means: with which 3d-camera the video was taken. With the p720 recorded 3d-content comes "only 2-3 cm" out of the display, and the depth is also few cm (maybe 10 cm ?). So the effect is relatively "flat", but it exists. But thats not the point to buy a 3d-phone. The point is in the direction of future. When you have a 3d-camera, you will for sure, sooner or later whats the 3d-content (recorded with p720) view on a 3d-Tv. And believe me: sooner or later you WILL have a 3d-Tv (because all Tv's today come with this feature). And the 3d-Effect on a 3d-Tv (content recorded with p720) is for sure: amazing. I saw many videos from it, with cross-eye-technique, and it gaves a good feeling. So the 3d-Display of the p720 gives you a good imagination how the 3d you have recordet would feel on larger screen. And for me, thats enough. Also an important point is : that this phone functionally is quiet equal with the most 2D (!) smartphones, i mean cpu, grafical abilities,etc - and the price is just a little bit higher than those smartphones. 550 Dollar instead of 480 Dollar. And there are cheaper and more expensive smartphones. So in fact: the decision isnt easy for sure. In the end, its a thing of (what the review also say): "how important is 3d for you" ? Is it 70 Dollar worth ? (because the p720 is also a good 2d-Smartphone - so the only 70-Dollar-more-feature goes to the 3d-feature). And i must say: there are not really a lot of 3d-Digicams for 70-100 Dollar, you know ? For me, its a very interesting feature - and i like to buy it for this reason.

before i purchase the 3D phone, does it really work as a 3D device ? do you know what 3D MEANS ? when using the device does the picture really come out of the device like a 3D movie?

I am using this phone last 2 weeks, Battery stay one day with heavy uses.
3d Experience is Great..& there is no lagging in performance

P725 --> Non NFC model
P720 --> with NFC version model
I personally using this phone from last 2 weeks, there is no problem at all.. All are working very smooth.. I am very much satisfied

Very good and fun smartphnone.. and im very satisfied with it.. before i bought this phone i have read alot of negative reviews.. but hey.. be an owner first and see for urself.. its a good and high end phone.. better than samsung smartphones.. the interface is smooth.. and ur gonna love the 3D!
