But actually you do not need 3D games because high graphic 2D games can play on 3D by the "3D Converter" come with this phone. Try it for your own, add the game/app to the converter and run inside the converter. I had tested most 2D game can work on 3D display also can try to adjust the setting if it is not working.

LG Optimus 3D Max not necessary require 3D video/game for 3D. It can display 2D video/game in 3D.

LG Optimus 3D Max is a full 3D phone.
1. it can view 2D photo on 3D (run-time auto convert immediately, no delay)
2. it can view 2D video on 3D (run-time auto convert immediately, no delay)
3. it can play 2D games on 3D (run-time auto convert immediately, no delay)
4. it can run 2D app in 3D (tested some 2D video app can play 2D/3D video on 3D)
This phone have full 3D capability. You do not need to have 3D game, almost all high graphic 2D game can play on 3D by the "3D converter" app come with this phone. And this converter also could work on 2D app to display on 3D, just add the app/game to this convert and run it inside the "3D converter" app.
If LG made this phone to Quad-core, larger the screen and advertise to user what actually 3D phone are, it will sure win over Galaxy Note 2 / S3. Unfortunately LG didn't made large upgrade of this phone.
With this phone full 3D capability has won over HTC 3D Evo(can't convert 2D to 3D).

disadvantage of lg 3d max. take too much time for start up and battery too week in 3d perfomance. advantage in HTC 2D to 3D button better camera quality than lg 3d and battery backup is batter. coz i m using both of these.

This as i was considering upgrading to the 3D max. Though to answer your follow up message, i had already updated my firmware to version 2.3 gingerbread from its original stock firmware 2.2 froyo, where i experience the dark photo images taken though already with flash and in night mode.
By the way does it still got the 3D games of the lg Optimus 3D p920, like the Asphalt 6, etc..?

For me, 3D Max P720 is better than Evo 3D. Comparing the 3D performance and not comparing the ICS update because 3D Max P720, doesn't have ICS update yet.

No regret for buying this phone.
- The 3D video and 3D photo experience is great. Watch video in 3D is very interesting & nice (the best video compare to any 2D phone with high pixel). This let me found that 3D TV will sure be the next generation of TV.
- LG Gingerbread is different compare to Samsung, it have special UI that is good to organize the apps, especially when have over 100+ apps. It allow you to categories your apps and easy to search. Hope that ICS update will have the same for categories the apps. Google should found out this and make Android OS with this apps categories as LG provide, it very useful.
- The WiFi signal is not bad, I use Galaxy S and Optimus 3D Max to connect to a public WiFi, Galaxy S signal is very low even very near, Optimus 3D Max signal is strong even more far away. Not sure for Galaxy S2 and S3.
- New phone coming will going to be Quad-core with 2G RAM, but this phone Dual-core with 1G RAM is still meet the requirement of all apps and games.
- The disadvantage for this phone is 8G Internal SD, mean only 1G ROM, 5G Internal Memory, that can't install too many apps and multiple huge games. For apps it may still possible by moving most apps to external SD card (32G).
- This phone is about the same with Galaxy S2, but it have the 3D. This won it. And compare to the price, it is fair for Dual-core with 1G RAM and still not outdated. No regret with it as the price is low and it is meet current apps and games requirement.
- For ICS update, I'm not rushing for this update. It is better late than early update with lots of bugs or less functions. Let LG more time to make the quality ICS update.
- As for now, my preferred of phone would be Optimus 3D Max and Galaxy Note 2. The large screen and Quad-core with 2G RAM is interesting but 3D video watching is great. I still choose this phone because it have the 3D.

i see the phone today at mobile shop.. its looks good and feature like galaxy s2.
my concern is the Android version 2.2.2.
can anyone tell me that, there is an any official update of ICS 4.X.
shopkeeper said that, i will upgrade your phone to ics 4.x by rooting the phone..if he root the phone 3d fucntion can workable?
though there is an official update available in next month or not
