there is 2 microphones on P920? y read the review and shows the upper microphone near the headphones jack, its a small hole similar to the middle hole in the bottom of the phone, its has a fabric-like black thing, so this upper hole has to be a second microphone, the review says video are recorded with stereo audio, but, I test it and there is no dual audio recording, I record video filming an cellphone playing some music, just a mono speaker, moving the O3D side by side trying to catch sound from both microphones, buts CLEARY feels the sound is recorded-coming just from the bottom microphone, its necesary to upgrade from froyo to gingerbread to get stereo audio y video records? I also try a buch of apps that claim to be used for record for "x" microphones but no more than 1 is used...

    battery standby is pathetic.
    ICS update is long due from LG.
    3D is good.
    overall an average phone.

        i was searching everywhere for the ICS update few months ago. yes i kno how u feel when hearing about jelly bean update for the older galaxy s2 while we are stucked in dated ginger bread in our MORE EXPENSIVE 3d. i was about to go for another phone (probably not an LG) bt ICS update made it possible to use for few months more.
        just after update i was really happy n checked few times the version number :D.
        wt i want to say is no huge improvements with ics. just fixed freezing while browsing and few additions i mentioned before and better battery backup.
        sm ppl r asking to buy a new optimus 3d. but i have to say is DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. go for sgs2. :) as an early user i really had a gud time with 3d.

            does any one know how to extend battery life? I turn off the WL, BT, GPS, and it lasts only for 3-4 hrs!!! I'm on ICS still , btw is there any other compatible battery higher than 1500 mA that would fit on the P-920? kindly help

              Best phone ever .....i'm waiting the official ICS update. Need to be out soon (official communicates).
              i updated to ported SU760 ICS 4.0.4, but have many bugs and its a little lagy. I want to update to Jellybean 4.2 (CM10.1) but only think that keep me from doing so, its that i loose 3D stuff, only thing for what i buyed this phone ....Hope for more good news soon :)

                  does optimus 3D really have 2 microphones for stereo sound record on videos? my videos aren't in stereo, is pretty noticeable that the camera uses just the upper microphone

                      this is not good..only two days when i buy this LG 920, may phone suddenly turn off it self..and i cannot turn it on..i have to do is full out the battery, so that i can turn it again..

                            No I.C.S for p920, this phone will not receive an update ever I.C.S.
                            There is a dodgy glitchy korean version floating about on the web that can be ported to the european version on the p920.
                            It is a stock version and contains all the bloatware, but is full of bugs.
                            Sms you can only use 80 words:( video camera still juddery and glitchy, constant freezing.
                            You can remove pre installed apps but it wont make any difference, the system info will temporarily give you more memory but it will quickly be eaten up again.
                            And most people who have tried this have gone back to the previous version of ginger bread which is more stable.
                            Should be able to pick one of these up for 50 quid and have a play around but updating it... well forget it..
                            LG'S time is up, there goose is cooked and nearly everyone i have spoken to who own an pg phone says they will never buy LG again.
                            So please stop begging for updates, there will not be any,, LG have washed there hands of it, made there money and moved on to pastures new

                              Hi,
                              there is no update to ICS for it.
                              I used the LG update tool , and i get the messege
                              "This device use the latest software , no need for update"
                              I called LG customer service, the same answer no update.
