With a custom rom is the best smartphone on the market, and also takes advantage dualchanel perfect memory, with the benchmark antutu or quadrant, on passing the samsung s2 has 1g of ram.
The battery lasts much longer than the original software version lg to 24 hours at moderate use and high use 10hs.
The hardware of LG really for me is the best, but the operating system can see the truth very little effort, it's amazing what a good custom rom, change is 100%.
Ultra recommend,ROM ACURA 3dmax V2 with kernel
1-V1-Maxima v3
The maximum temperature is 34º celcius in games to 36º celcius degrees

I like this phone, but mine has alot of problems.
-Google apps randomly open and slow down the phone.
-Dies sometimes and need to reboot by myself.
-Charger broke.
-Needs more RAM since im always in the yellow zone.
(Yes i do close my apps)
Do not update to 2.3.5 !!
The original version was quicker and less laggy!
People told me me LG is a bad brand. Maybe it is? Going to take it back to the shop.
-3D is awesome but makes ur eyes hurt within a minute.
-Dual core does everything with 2 fingers in its nose.
-Very quick because of the dual channel memory.
-Camera is Great!
-Filming is 1080p is good.

Not recommended; Limited RAM, Slow, Sluggish, especially after upgrading to latest firmware, V20F, seriously overheats during use (skype and viber), terrible camera quality, and finally, a joke 3D feature that does not justify all this..
I intend to replace mine for an Xperia S soonest possible.

Just bought the phone yesterday (my first Android device). So far it works absolutely perfect. Smooth. Call quality is brilliant! Reception is perfect. I used it in an elevator and managed to make few calls without any issues :) People did not even noticed where I am. Wifi signal is good. Touch screen is quite responsive (compared with Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S I tried the other day).
Picture quality is not the best but still if you are not going to use the phone for professional photos...the quality is great :)
The phone is heavy but it fits in the hand perfectly (I btw have small hands).
Within the next couple of days I will update to Gingergbread and eventually give a feedback.
Do not wonder for a second. Buy the phone if you have the chance. Even though LG may stop release updates after the ICS there are still going to be Custom ROMs :)

I dunno what everyone are talking about.This phone is awesome,I installed titan kernel and now it's 1.2ghz,it's smoother than EVER ! Games run perfectly,gamer is very good,gingerbread is fine OS imo....I luv this phone,no ghost calls etc...

ashleigh, 12 Jun 2012i have had this phone as a replacement phone from my nokia ... moreAll the LG software problems, are fixed by installing a Custom ROM LG makes good hardware but their weakness is the software that are very sloppy. I recommend you look for pages on how to install a custom ROM, you must read well as they do, there are many tutorials on the internet. My Optimus 3D I stay well above most of the phone is in place, without comparing it with a quadcore. I recommend you visit the pages as xdadevelopers, HTCMania (spanish) or htcspain (spanish, but the best ROM). Good luck.
