I have got my optimus 3d only for a few days...and it's an excellent phone.....i've got 2 say that if you download a power-save app,and an app killer the battery will last longer...and besides you can't expect a 3d phone's battery to last long....as 3d software needs lots of power.

sumon, 29 Oct 2011Awesome phone but battery sucks….. Do not buy unless you want firmware updates that are 2year old. Froyo cannot take advantage of the hardware such as dual core. Announced in january and they still struggle to update shocking, but its not just the optimus 3d they dont bother updating it over their whole range.

It has TI OMAP4When is the Android 4.0 arriving for the LG Optimus 3D, because it is really outdated and they are losing customers because they want ICS OS and you guys give us Froyo and an upgrade to Gingerbread. No one wants Gingerbread anymore! Start appreciating your customers and start preparing Ice Cream Sandwich for your Flag Ship series!!!!!

VISHAL, 27 Oct 2011i think dont buy sgs2. buy lg optimus 3d. beacuse in sgs2 h... morei wont b buying this 3D phone anymore. i have read that LG is poor in updating their mobile products. Furthermore, the optimus 2X wont be updated to ice cream. they might do as well to this beautifully craftedphone. users of LG are screaming for updates but why LG isnt listening to them? ill now go to SGS2 or moto razr.

3d SBS content can be converted on the fly to work.
1) Open Video Player
2) Find side by side Vid
3) Press the 2d onscreen tab (bottom right)
4) Press the physical bottom left phone button (left of the home button)
5) Press onscreen 3d formatter
6) Press onscreen sbs format (far left one normally)
7) Press ok (top right)
DONE

tabron, 25 Oct 2011i finally considered buying optimus 3D OR SGS2 by december.... morei think dont buy sgs2. buy lg optimus 3d. beacuse in sgs2 have a dual core. but in lg 3d has dual core, dual channel and dual memory thats why optimus 3d is 10 time better than samsung gs2.

where can i get 3d content for phone other than lg world downloaded some stereoscopic (side by side) videos and they dont work in 3d just get 2 vids side by side really annoying considering i payed alot for phone only for 3d screen with no glasses

Do not buy if u want uoto date firmware. Ginger bread is nearly a thing of the past as icecream sandwich is being released yet LG Flag ship phone has majorly outdated froyo with only talk of ginger bread.

Great phone, have been using it for 50 days.
Very fast and very stable so far.
Managed to get a little more battery life by rooting it and using CPU Master.
Version V10K.
Rooted.
Live wallpaper.
WiFi always on, 3G disabled
AdAway installed ( no more ads)
Flash Player final version works ok but if you get green video revert to previous version)
Skype works ok with front or rear cam.
Still waiting for 2.3 upgrade to enjoy it more.
If you root it dont forget to unroot when you search for version upgrades.
